What you want is Biafra, what your leaders want is Biafra, what ipob want is biafra.

Before asking for presidency, go and unite in your towns and villages, deal with your violent anti-Nigerian terrorists before asking for Nigerians to trust you with that office.

You can not have it both ways.

Nope! Tinubu should have the so called presidency because the damage done by Buhari will take donkey's years to correct. This is the underlying problem none of the present unfit persons fixated on occupying the office of the president have never considered.

Abeg split this useless union let all man go develop @ its own pace.Meanwhile, the drums are still beating for Tinubu.

I think Tinubu deserved to be the President of Nigeria because he has paid his dues in our journey towards achieving and sustaining democratic governance. BUT, the time for him to have become President has passed.

Nigeria is currently in a precarious situation in which only a young, vibrant, intelligent, detribalized, energetic, and hardworking President (with new ideals) can redeem us from total collapse and disintegration.

The Tinubu we have today is one who is old, senile, frail, physically weak, geriatric, and whatnot. Like Senator Misau said, Nigeria cannot risk a Tinubu presidency at this point of our nationhood.

OR, imagine moving from a disaster like Buhari to Tinubu. You sef imagine ham.
Tinubu cannot even handle the damage this Buhari administration has done to this country for one year. He will just be ruling us from his hospital bed in London.

Igbos don't necessarily hate Tinubu. They might have disagreed on the choice of Buhari as a Presidential candidate which eventually Igbos seems to have got absolutely right over time.

And again they were shocked that Tinubu decided to go for presidency himself even though he knew it would have been the right thing to let Igbos have a go, because SW had had its turn.

These two things above, in my opinion, pitched the Igbos against the person of Tinubu. If it had gone the other way round, I guess they would have spoken greatly about him. For me I respect his political sagacity. He has a very big opportunity to be in the league of Azikiwe and Awolowo, if he can unite Nigeria thru his political party. But again, his presidential ambition might be a big problem.

Of course who doesn't know . It's the right thing to do. After South West right years and North right years ; the only right thing to do is to give it to the Southeast....
Re: Ebunola Martins: Tinubu Should Support The South-East For 2023 Presidency by Boyooosa(m): 7:44am On Oct 14, 2021
According to Martins, the two major political in the country should produce their candidates from Igboland as it was done in 1999 when the South-West fielded former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Chief Olu Falae of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Peoples Party (APP) respectively.

For me, this condemns the whole appeal.
1. No Igbo man has been denied installation after free and fair election
2. None was incarcerated for winning the freest and fairest election in the country
3. None was killed after regaining freedom
4. I'm not even seeing the two candidates for now.
5. I'm not seeing the unity in that part of the country

The Owner carries load from the weighty side... they need to show their worthiness and competence firstly

power was given to the yorubas in 1999.dont sugar coat it please

Yorubas were compensated because of the ill treatment meted to them through Bashorun MKO Abiola in 1992 presidential election.
So, a Yoruba man first fought for the power through hard work and deligence and was short changed by powers that be.
Hence, Yoruba were compensated and was not just given as you claimed.

FakeUnity:

Mr Olaking the herbal alagbo junkie, there will be no yoruba presidency before an Igbo presidency the way nigeria is currently structured and Ebunola knows this because he is a wise yorubaman.

I have been preaching this to your brothers like seunmsg et al, but many of you are too thickheaded to see the bigger picture. You are being too emotional just like your 'Ahhhh!-Yeeeee!' yoruba tantrums!

Calm down and see the bigger picture like Ebunoluwa, If APC gives yorubaman ticket, PDP will smile, jubilate and give the North ticket with an Eastern VP, then it's game over for SW, that's exactly the mistake PDP are waiting for APC to make and that is why all the zoning commitees of both APC and PDP are playing the waiting game to see who 'breathes first'. grin

The North will then continue in power till you realize that you have again dribbled yourselves into a tight corner in a 'sophisticated manner'.

While the yoruba are championing 'southern unity', equity and fairness in order to force both parties to ceed their tickets to the south, evade a popular contest with the north, easily reap from the agitation in the East, use propaganda to incite northern voters against SE candidates and grab power. The East are wiser and are not buying it because they feel yorubas are not being politically sincere. How many SE governors did you see in the 'Southern unity forum'? grin

Also, Northerners are reminding the yorubas that they have taken their share in 1999 and if it's by fairness and equity, the yorubas are no longer qualified and have no moral justification to ask the north not to contest. Even though we are aware that they (North) are doing that to achieve 'divide-and-rule' in the south, they are actually saying THE TRUTH, and that's where the East stands because it is the TRUTH obviously.

You want the unemotional bitter truth? Here it is;

1) The country is heavily skewed to favour only a certain region and tribe.

2) With the current skewed ethnopolitical system, the north can remain in power forever until they are violently removed, but they seem to have that covered already as they have filled every strategic military posts and positions with northerners already.

3) If the East won't have power, then obviously the SW will find it hard to argue for it with the 'equity and justice' mantra. That means you'll keep waiting till the East takes their rightful turn before you do.

4) The earlier the East takes it turn, the earlier the SW can also rightfully argue for it.

As usual, you have started with your backyard analysis. Always doing nonsense permutations. You keep falling yourself all the time.

You are the controller of the north that makes you know what they would do and what they would not.

I may have to bookmark this so that i can refer to this baseless analysis you have made.

The east are wise now: wise indeed. Not only wise, na wese.

The result will come out before the election even starts.

Why your wise Easterners are still thinking of what to do, the westerners are already counting the results in their favour and you are still shouting we are now wise. Wise base on what? What efforts so far had the so called wise people taking to prove that they are now wise? Abi you think say na to argue for nairaland?
