Sorry about that. I trust and believe men of the Nigeria Army are well trained not to attack innocent citizens but to protect the nation from external attacks. However, with the rise of criminal activities in the nation, most criminals put on the uniform of the Nigerian Army pretending to be men of the Nigerian army and police while carrying out their crimes on the innocent citizens. We are aware of the various attacks on our security agencies in the south east where some of the security men are attacked, killed and their properties stolen. It is very possible that those criminals who attack our security men and steal their properties commit such crimes.

Since you said you have evidence of payment which is the transfer, I suggest you visit the nearest Police station around you and file in your complaint while the Police looks into the matter.

We all must join hands and stop this criminals parading as security men in our country.

Once certain time last month in calabar ....one akpako car belonging to Nigerian army double cross me and younger brother at about 9.35pm in satellite town calabar ..

Corked their guns and asked us to enter their vehicle..they took us to a nearby bush around imperial college and asked us to open our phones ..

Accused us of yahoo yahoo ....

Searched my phone and my brothers phone then asked us again if we are sure that we are not a yahoo boy ...

The thing they started asking us if we know of any yahoo boys around our house ,...and we said no ...they became angry ,shouted at us and later left us..

Please Nigerian army should watch their members closely as they are turning to something else in calabar ...

Nigerian army command lots of respect and dignity ..they should not allow some fraudulent members to give them a bad name..

This is becoming too much in calabar...

If what you narrated is true then this Country has really gone dirty. Soldiers behaving as touts. Nobody is save.

Just two days ago it rained heavily in Aba & my cousin was heading home around 9pm. He couldn't get a vehicle so he was walking down. Policemen came and arrested him and put him in their vehicle, alongside other random people they picked. They drove them from Aba to Umuahia and wrongly accused them of being robbers and started demanding money for their bail. His own was 30k that was collected before they released him.

Things are happening ooo. They will leave the main criminals who seem smarter than them and arrest innocent ones and tag them criminals.

You really don't know how bad the NA has denigrated themselves. There is no honour and prestige in the Nigeria Army.

Do you even live in Nigeria?

Only the day before yesterday a thief was caught on my street and after a little kpokpo they called the police to come and take him away.

The police demanded to be settled. I heard them discussing N5k.

However, how do you know these guys are army? Many touts now wearing army uniforms.

I am 100% sure they are army guys and yes, they are touts. Two military guys almost did the same thing to a guy yesterday but people gathered and started shouting. When the commotion was too much, they got back on their bikes and took off. Apparently, his bike overtook theirs 'disrespectfully'! Majority of them are suffering one mental health or the other and they take it out on civilians.

For those of you saying they are fake soldiers, read this:
