A Danish man who is in custody in Norway suspected of a bow-and-arrow attack on a small town that killed five people and wounded two others is a Muslim convert who had previously been flagged as having being radicalized, police said Thursday.

“There earlier had been worries of the man having been radicalized,” Police chief Ole B. Saeverud told a news conference.

The victims were four women and one man between the ages of 50 and 70, Saeverud said.

The man is suspected of having shot at people in a number of locations in the town of Kongsberg on Wednesday evening. Several of the victims were in a supermarket, police said.

Norwegian news agency NTB cited police as saying the suspect also used other weapons.

There was “a confrontation” between officers and the assailant in connection with the arrest, police said but gave no details.

Both the hospitalized victims are in intensive care. They include an off-duty police officer who was inside the store. Their condition was not immediately known.

Poland is the only European country that refused to admit Muslim immigrants into their country and they did that to avoid extremist actions like this.
In the 9th century, Muslim forces conquered several bases in southern France, including Fraxinet. They were expelled only in 975.

However, France is the most Islamised country in Western Europe and this has led to various increased terrorist attacks; with many French opposing the way it brings in immigrants, cause among these immigrants are extremists.

All Muslims are not terrorist, actually the majority are peace-loving people but the vast European populace have learnt that when admitting refugees from Muslim majority countries, extremists can sneak in.

Remember the teacher that was beheaded in France, many Muslims condemned the attack while some rejoiced. It is well with Norway. Heard Sweden and Denmark have started revoking visas of Syrian refugees in their countries

LIBERAL MUSLIM in the whole world, a muslim is a muslim, with

one mindset of gaining the whole world for themselves, i have them as friends

but i do careful and sensitive around them. just imagine it, a new convert and totally brainwashed.

Anti Islam reporting, I've read this news on dailymail.co.uk since yesterday but they didn't report that he was a Muslim at first because they where not sure of his belief. But if he ended up being a Christian it won't be reported that Christian man kill people. Violence has no religion

Even though I'm a born again Christian, I know the media will eventually blame Islam for the sin of one man. Why must we Christians influence the media against our Muslim counterparts? Must the religion of any criminal be mentioned before prosecution? This is irresponsible journalism and I condemn it entirely.
