He did say that, I was surprised too! I always thought his first game was against Cameroun away. I thought Paul Hamilton was the coach in the Angola game. I was 10 yrs old then so maybe I didnt know as much as I thought.

Nigerian fans are good at forcing their experience players into retirement. They did it to JJ, Kanu, Oruma, Mikel and a hosts of others, infact currently they're on Ahmed Musa's case.
