If a very good player like Godfrey Kondogbia can leave France after 5 caps to play for CAR then why can’t a below average player like ikpeazu play for Uganda ?

I believe should NFF or the coaches should have a tea chat with either of Adjorin or olise one may choose turn up for Nigeria and that will solve our 10 problem for a while

We need learn from the way Morocco and Algeria recruit Foreign Born players.... they act so fast before they hit limelight

That anjorin Na fine player ,I just pray we get him now because if they guy begin play for epl club e go hard us

Rohr need to hold a chat with the player and his agent and let him know how much he needs him in super eagles

Rohr can do everything the pundit recruited as his assistant should take up this initiative too if he is smart and knowledgeable.....

This things are not rocket science
And if his answers are ''i will think about it''

Panick promised to spread the red carpet for tammy, yet he disappointed him.
Lookmun hass been processing a switch over papers for years.
eze with his own funny n crappy reason,

As long as most of these guys think they r still good enough to attract other better countries,we remain a back up to them.
No amount of convincing will do.

Paul Halmiton was in charge and remember we came from two goals down to level up with goals from Ademola Adeshina and late screamer from Stephen Keshi.

Nigeria had a good national team build up after we failed to qualify for Egypt 86 by losing to Zambia.Coach Chris Udemuze was sacked after Zambia match and Halmiton was named as his successor temporarily based on his achievement with 1985 U 20 team and this gave opportunity for some 1985 U 20 players like Samson Siasia,Monday Odiaka,Andrew Uwe who was named captain of new Super eagles and surprisingly he captained eagles when senior player like Keshi returned back to the team after he was banned from eagles for reporting late to camp by Anthony Ikhazobo.

NFA later appointed a German Manfred Hoener as eagles coach.Hoener took us to maroc 88,after he left,Paul Hamilton took over and build a very strong team that are ready for qualifications to Italian 90.He did well but surprisingly NFA was looking for foreign coach to take over, which they later did with Clemens Westerhoff though it later paid off cos Westerhoff was able to build a solid team from Algiers 90,Senegal 92,Tunisia 94 and later US 94 and the team remain the best till today.
Well said, sir ,the team formed the nucleus of 1996 Olympic team with few inclusion

I just saw the news about Nnamdi Oduamadi signing for a Serie D club, and I instantly remembered that confederation cup game against Tahiti...
Makes me wonder if Rohr could have managed such a high margin win against a minnow like that with this team grin

Unpopular Opinion

I would like to see Awaziem and Balogun duo in central defence instead of Ekong, they are both good ball players and may have a better understanding than Balogun - Ekong duo
Well, you have a point but I feel both are too similar to play together.

Thats because we always wait for them to blossom prior we start approach them... if algeria had wait for mahrez to hit stardom prior they absolve him in i bet France would have drag him well and win likely so let us adopt Algeria and Morocco approach in getting this lads and I am sure it will work better

Moreover u dont because of those who rejects u stop trying to get others on your side

Just read from Sarrki that he was asked to pay 5k dollars to play for Nigeria reason why he choose play for Haiti

Andy the corruption amongst our indigenous coaches and FA is just too worrisome Thats why me dont want any of them to take over from Rohr

Only God knows how much that Switzerland wondering boy Stephen Okoh paid to get call ups from Swiss second division

We all know who was the coach at this time
The only capable replacement for Rohr should be another sound foreign coach

Rohr did no hold talks with the player but named him to the standby list?
Same OGN reported in June that Rohr held talks with the player and his parents. So where did they get the previous report from?

humility33:
Sources close to the midfielder insist he was shocked to be named on standby in the Super Eagles squad for their AFCON qualifiers in March as no discussion was held over his invitation to the team.

” From what I was told there was no talk with Rohr. Olise didn’t speak with him before he was named in the squad for the AFCON qualifiers in March. He didn’t honour the game and rightly so because that isn’t how to go about calling a player with dual nationality”, the source told OwnGoalNigeria.com in an exclusive chat

Oga humility why are you always castigating indigenous coaches.

Bro if I dig into shady deals of foreign coaches and agents you go dey agape o.

My man I handled Westerhoff utilities bills when he was in Nigeria and I want to tell you handling Nigeria national team is a very difficult job.Pressures from everywhere.

Oh you think Musa and Shehu are getting call up just on merit abi...if it is an indigenous coach inviting the duo I know a lot must have said dollars don pass.....

OK Oga humility say something on Chiiedebere Nwakili invitation? even Maduka Okoye a bundesliga div 3 player?though is our number 1 now...hope you remember the same Keshi that invited Okoh a swiss div 2 was the same that invited Leon Balogun a div 2 player then...

Bro pls easy on our local coaches o and even our NPFL players...you run this people down like kilode....

My Oga humility abi you no be naija ni.

I want to tell you that Willy Bazuaye remain most uncorrupted ever Nigeria national team coach. This is a man that turned blind eyes to his talented son Baldwin Bazuaye.
