C'mon do u want our ranking to drop further huh

Must u remind those clueless bunch in NFF to go with the jamboree match....with a team coached by two clueless coaches
Lol...
It seems like the tournament has been cancelled like Pogba said...

Meanwhile, I just found out that Ivory Coast have moved their home games to Benin republic for the time being...
The reason is that their own stadium is under renovation now..That same potato field where they played against Cameroon.

This got me wondering whether Ivory Coast don't have another stadium to host them... This is a country that's in line to host the next AFCON after Cameroon

despite our talents we still play wack football because we lack a competent coach. Sometime you left to wonder if this players dorning the green white green are the players tearing Europe apart with their performance.

[quote author=TheSuperNerd post=106769582]We still have Manu Garba for that. We should be looking at Emmanuel Amunike as our next Super Eagles coach. I rate his tactical acumen so highly. That guy has what it takes to handle this new Nigerian Generation of footballers several of which are players he discovered and turn them into a Golden force.

Amunike is the guy I want to see taking on Algeria's Djamel Belmadi with this Nigerian team. The tactical battle would be exciting on all levels. cool

Well said Dr., however rather than remain unemployed, Emma should continue to beef up his resume if possible get more successes like he did with Tanzania or make a strong case like the South African in Egypt. Like they said, Goldfish has no hiding spot and everyone acknowledges success.

Better

The one they played in Californian the other time didn't serve any purpose other than to pull down our ranking

Doc. huh

Same amuneke that coached Tanzania where they concede goals with baskets....his goal during that afcon was to outscore u
Nigeria local coaches should go out like Keshi did with Mali and,Togo before talking about their chances with eagles.

Emma Amuneke failed woefully with Tanzania and coaching eagles is still a milestone for him.

It just a pity Rohr is finding it difficult to turn Nigeria team to a classic team.

Exactly thanks Egbon for saying it the way it is
I am so sure the experience he had with mali and togo helped him with Super Eagles

Rohr is not competent most of this coaches u see ralling round low ranked Africa teams because thats the best they can get.... they can't get a top coaching jobs in their coaches because they don't have the skill set to excel

So rohr can't give what he dont have

I disagree with you Egbon. He succeeded wonderfully with Tanzania, came out smelling like Roses. Got them into the afcon since 1980 I think, I won't be shocked if it takes them another 30 years to make AFCON. At d afcon itself, were u expecting Tanzania to win the competition?

Siasia is corrupt! He might be good tactically but like Keshi his call-ups were suspicious!
Also, he made us lose the 2008 Olympic final by starting his boy Isaac Promise ahead of Anichebe against Argentina. The former went on to miss an open goal!
However, I might agree that we give Amunike a chance but my fear is that he might not have the balls to drop his boys if they underperform as Rohr did to Kelechi. I don't see any special stuff Rohr is doing to warrant $30k per month!
Even the amuneke too

This indigenous coaches ehh are like Nigeria Politicians there is rarely a saint amongst them...

Many want the super eagles job because of what they stand to gain from shady deals

Had it been Jonathan got re-elected in 2015 keshi would have continued as SE coach... the clueless minister of sport that Rotimi Ameachi sacked as LG chairman in Rivers was ready to leave him as SE coach and Keshi was using the connection he had with GEJ to push through.... that clueless minister even resurfaced Pinnick - Giwa rift no wonder former First lady Patience Jonathan called him "boy"

Talking about Nacho's playfulness? Benching Okoye for arriving late?

Well, I'm glad you're straightforward about your bias
But u denigrated Amunike's success at Tanzania sir and called it woeful failure.

Please ignore Ayo, na my big broda Kog45 get this message jare.

What does talking about a player playing and arriving late have to do with endurance?

I said, Amunike has high endurance, so you can not give him excuse.

The weather was cold and the players did not have enough cover. So he bought coats for them with the money from FIFA but still wore a plain shirt. Meaning that the players were warmer and could not use cold as an excuse not to prepare.

I am talking with respect of harsh training conditions. I see that vibe from Amunike. I don't get that vibe from Rohr.

I won't blame Amuneke for the action he took then. NFF can be cruel when they want to be, look at what they did to Siasia's U23 team multiple times especially at the Rio games. Amuneke also said his own U17 boys wore slippers to travel for their own and the boys weren't even given kits to keep them warm. I won't be surprised if Amunike, and co are still owed monies from the times they played!!!!! Humilty I agree with you, we dey wicked for 9ja, greed here is on another level!!!! Even women are not left out.
But amuneke should have look beyond
If me dey their shoes na how to boast my resume so as to get one club for western europe start coach from there my coaching career for europe don start

Everyone knows NFF is filled with wicked folks who like own coaches and players

Sir, he got Tanzania to qualify for afcon after over 30 years appearance, that only is like a world cup win to that country. In d tournament proper, it would be an unreasonable expectation to expect Tanzania to perform well at the competition proper.

It is difficult for black European players to get jobs. Let alone African coaches. It is not about quality coaches. There is literally no room for them.

Do you think Finidi George is not fit to coach a club in Spain?

Now Tanzania is not doing bad

More so Tanzania qualified because of the increase slots for afcon from 16 teams to 32 i think or 24 cant remember thats how they qualified will see it as an achievement he attained with Tanzania if they didnt make this forthcoming afcon in January

AndSunGorilla said taking Tanzania to Afcon since 1980 should be seeing as achievement just like the way we celebrate Rohr for taking us back to Afcon after missing out in two editions.

Emma Amuneke just need to get a job and prove to us that he can do it.

Even you know you are lying to yourself.

Amunike is brilliant.

We won the Afcon twice in that same window. Tanzania did not qualify in that window.

So how can Rhor qualify for Afcon be the same.

Finidi is not fit to coach in Spain div 1 &2

U can get a job in this country still despite the racism if you're competent..... Albanian a racist country could give a nigerian job to manage their team... Equeavon was club sporting director at a Slovenian club he returned to africa, amokachi manage a club in finland, Olise too in holland

Exactly Egbon

Same case many of rohr apologist are making for rohr

I can bet on this many of this indigenous coaches including Amuneke wont have been able to qualify us for world cup and afcon smoothly like rohr did without calculations and permutations

If Rhor could do what Keshi did for us, you guys will be celebrating Rhor like the best coach since Mario Zagallo.

Rhor can't even do multiple tasks. Like he can't even coach CHAN team. Yet you guys find it easy to abuse an achiever like Keshi and celebrate Rhor.

If Amunike and co did not raise Osimhen and Nacho and they fought their way in their clubs, Rhor would still be begging Tammy Abraham.

I get u

So because he discovered oshimen and nacho with manu garba we should now replace Rohr with him?

He did well with the under 17 but less average with other teams he managed

Did he tell you he will not get a job? I am telling you Finidi George is bigger than Enyimba. Steve Cooper gets to coach Swansea, when a top grade coach like Finidi gets to coach Enyimba.

You think they can't get local jobs? They can do that. Enyimba is not where Finidi should be.

Finidi will definitely be a better tactician than Rhor but he gets to coach Enyimba, while Rhor coaches Super Eagles.
