tamdun: There is no single pothole along the entire ikwerre road from mile 1 to rumuokoro. Thanks to Wike Stadium road to rupokwu through GU AKE Road used to be a mess with lots of potholes that you need to swerve left and right trying to dodge them. Today you can drive through the road with your eyes closed, it's thanks to Wike How about the Mummy B road? Have you ever been held in traffic on that road before the dualisation? How about the roads in GRA? Do you have any idea how Omerelu road used to be? How about the numerous ongoing projects like the Eastern bypass ogunabali road? The road in front of Cheers bar and Agip Road is being worked on as I type this to get rid of recurring potholes that have since plagued those roads How about the expansion of rumuokoro - rupokwu road? Have you been to Old GRA recently? So when you say Wike is just building flyovers and nothing else, even you know you're just lying through your teeth 7 Likes 1 Share |

1. I don't understand what people mean by giant strides? Wike should so better, he us over hyped 2. Has settled pensioners since he assumed office. Wike should pay pensioners, they are dying slowly 3. What are the qualities of this project 4. Can this road last 10 years without cave in or pot holes? Poor quality of roads I bet they won't last 3-5years 5. With all the allocation where is employment, where is internal roads, where are the good schools and hospitals in river state? None. I am not a politician o neither am I supporting anyone but let us compare projects executed by the last administration to these one. The last government has roads they built that are still standing today e.g(elekahia, rumuomasi, old aba road, oginigba slaughter road and etc). This roads are over 12 years without any potholes o. Education, the last government built good schools and invested well In education but Wike has abandoned the same educational sector to die, what about the health centers? We all know Amaechi goofed with the monorail but he did far better than Wike in all rating. What's the use of 5 flyovers from garrison to artillery? Quality is poor, designs are not world class. Let me inform us that traffic will increase once this projects are completed because the designs are poor and will not correct the traffic wahala. Wike is overhyped.simple 2 Likes 1 Share |

exsodus:In this 21st century we still celebrate the government building roads and flyovers, something that there should be no fuse about. Sincerely i wonder how we get her, while other countries are developing nuclear weapons, doing space exploration, advanced medical research, and also creating opportunity for the citizens to tap from her country resources. We are here celebrating mediocrity and clapping for leaders with lackadaisical attitude toward the citizen and the country. Despite all the revenue generated in rivers state, na only road and flyover wey wike buid na hin person snap for different angle come post for nairaland. |

Op this is nice but if he does only the major roads and leave all the streets in shambles, what has he gained. Portharcourt has the worst streets ever. Very very bad streets . I commend him and beg that he does some concentration in getting the streets fixed also tonye33: |

Going to Opobo by road after more than 100 years is a giant stride completed by Wike remaining the Trans Kalabari highway. The OP just showed one GRA flyover which is nothing compared with what Wike has done. 3 Likes |

I stay in portharcourt ,it has not eased the traffic gridlock because all concentration is on major roads only. If he can also do link roads, it will easy the traffic gridlock. Even with the construction of rumuokoro flyover,if u see the holdup in the evenings ,u will be perplexed that the bridge wasnt able to solve the traffic problem. I commend him but let him also work on the link roads to solve the issue of gridlock on the major roads Aforxzy: |

seunfly: Una don carry politics and tribalism enter the talk. You don forget say Ogun state na APC state and so far, he is the worst governor in naija. Ironically too, he is a YORUBA man. You desperately want a Yoruba man as President come 2023, but you fail to realize that Zulum of Borno is a northern man, who is doing great works in Borno, despite the challenge of insecurity. See eh, right about now, all I want is for a right thinking man to become president come 2023, be it a northerner or a southerner. I will not vote a demon because I want a southern Presidency; God forbid |
