Go and study how states resource control is done in developed nations, and stop arguing. When states take over your resources and Abuja crumbles, exactly what you are saying will happen. You are the one who dont understand it.

What you want is to eliminate abuja totally which I clamor for too (though you may not know, but I'm telling you that for you to achieve what you want Abuja must fall). And your state legislators take over the laws guiding the income of your state. And who are the legislatures? Are they from the moon? They willl be the ones to make the law. They are reps from local govts which we already have. They will just empower the local govt financially which they will do. They have no choice, but there is limit.

We will have regional supreme courts too. State police also. Or is it local govt policing you want also? How possible is that? Can you have local govt military too? Can you have local govt policing? Can you have supreme court's in all local govts? So, the lowest recognized level is the state level. Sure, each local govt will have more power. But there is limit to what they can do. They will promote them to the level of the power mayors have in the US.

Use your head. You have argued enough. So, stop it there. If you dont understand a topic, relax. Stop showing your ignorance.

Again, if your state takes over the resources of your land, almost everything you have stated will be implanted.

Abeg all of these politicians should go and sit down with their pedestrian suggestions for good governance.

Office of first Lady or not has never been the problem of governance in Nigeria. Yes it is not a constitutionally recognised office. But there is hardly any where in the world where the wife of the President will not be accompanied by top security and have a retinue of aides even if she chooses not to be in the public eye.

Cutting off the office of first Lady is too pedestrian to make it a campaign promise. Rather, tell us what you will do to undertake a wholistic review of the entire governance architecture, keeping the cabinet as lean as possible to eliminate waste.

Tell us how you plan to catalyze the constitutional review that is necessary to take the fluff and perks out of governance so that only the people that are genuinely interested in serving the people come into politics and aspire for office.

All of these first Lady talk is becoming jaded abeg!

I don't think he assumed it as a campaign promise. Maybe more towards cutting cost. And he did the exact same thing as Governor.
