may it's because she is black...but there was basically no connection...look forced to me...would have loved to see how the whole Natalie thing played out but no...they had other plans...but let's see what they have in store for us in the next season...season 3 was solid btw

and yes she looks old but she's actually a young woman in her 30's..thought she was in her 50's but checked her Wikipedia page and she's 38...to my surprise

As Movie director myself yeah I think they did it in nigeria. Because some parts were shown . But the lady that acted abishola's mom didn't get the role right. She's african American her accent was just off

Yeah all the cast were African Americans or had African descent. I noticed it too even at the airport and at the market. And also the uniform the security at the airport was wearing isn't the real uniform. So I'm thinking maybe CGI was used for some part(corona period). And also for the market they might have made use a filming studio. But the director claimed they shot here.
The pictures on the wall were probably use by the set decorator. The first picture shown a black man who look like abishola's father shaking a white man
While the second one showed someone like a British administrator or a prime minister with his wife.
