Most time he reason why Car AC is not optimum is the air filter.....I service mine myself every month and change it completely after 4 months......Ac cools well come hot or fire ......

Change your filter ....watch YouTube videos that explains your car model/year and DIY.

I almost spit out my coke reading this, lol.

Men, I’m just thinking, I need my car to be up to spec, like spec bro!

Like, you know how airplane maintenance standards are abi? I’m sure you wouldn’t want to fly in a plane that has been maintained in the hanger with tokunbo or fairly used parts.

I’d like my car to be that way, although for most small testable things I don’t even look at new parts.

Like for my check engine light I bought a scanner for 1,500 from jumia, instead of paying a mechanic 5,000 to scan the car. The scanner told me the bank 2 heater sensor circuit was faulty. Took out the oxygen sensor and ran a resistance test, then I figured I could go used since I could simply run a resistance test on the used part. Problem solved!

However for something like a compressor, it’s hit or miss going tokunbo, it’s not like you can see through to the internals, or see leak spots when buying. Same with a motor mount, you might get a used one with the rubber still looking intact, but the rubber might already be degraded. Then one would be wondering why the problem is still there.

At the end of the day sha, I must admit, it all depends on the availability of funds. If I had extra extra funds right now, I’d buy a brand new compressor and motor mounts and know that I wouldn’t have to worry about those for another 10 years.

Is scanner 1,500 in those ur websites?

So my point is look inwards...wetin u dey find for sokoto, e dey inside ur shokoto.

But if u are a Lagos big boy...u can go ahead. But to think that after buying such an expensive part from overseas, na still kazeem go fix am, e get as e be.

Hello everyone. Pls someone who can help should chime in. I want to know if 2million naira can get me a good car that will be used to run Uber/bolt and get profit as an investment. I want insight on how to better do it. Or if you have any helpful advice in relation to this, please help me.

I have this money sitting somewhere and I don't want to spend it unwisely. Thanks everyone.

Or you think riders don't like it when drivers speed? For you to think she's gonna report the driver.

Good for them, but having a stranger drive you like that in Lagos... On second thought, that's a babe I'd like to meet wink

On the driver's part that's unprofessional and wrong.

No let them hear am. Na F1 drivers. During independence day, one Uber/bolt regular Corolla was chasing a Peugeot 607, along ibadan-lagos expressway. Omo, the pijo guy no get chills. E be like he wants make the Corolla engine get a seizure grin
As I made a u-turn, after mowe, I added injury to the Corolla guy. I felt the Corolla guy explaining to his passengers why speed no good. Cos we dealt with him as his seniors.

U see, when dey overtake u, their spines will be gyrating.

You are sure ready to spend all your earnings on parts. Listen to Pearl.

One of the beautiful things about this thread and life generally is that, one way, nature finds a way to give the best advice, or rather good advice. But humans, being human, we like to learn the difficult way. What people go around looking for is validation, and not advice.

If you are on this job. Don't buy cheap, buy quality parts. When quality parts looks like it wants to take you out of business, buy reasonably priced parts, or good used.

No parts person will tell you this. But I will, free of charge. What you often pay more for on very expensive parts are warranties and business running cost, in whatever form they take.

If it is from say, Dealership. If the parts cost price is 50k. Selling price to end user could be 100k. Why? Mark ups, cost of no questions asked when you seek refund(Like you get instant refund if you change mind or part is defective) , business related cost.

You sure won't get a refund from chinedu or baba Nura.

Now, this does not rule out knock of parts.

Also, I smile when people say I buy my parts from amazon, with small shoulder pad and funky feeling. Amazon makes it quality! No. Amazon does not produce parts, it is the same way, buying from konga or jumia. You buying from Another Chinedu and Baba Nura, with amazon fulfilling the order (handling delivery)

My point. Use your Head. No let them help u use am, you already did with the oxygen sensors

If an investor comes in with 15 cars requesting for 15 experienced drivers currently on the platform, it will create a vacuum of 15 drivers which new drivers can fill.

I can only vouch for drivers I personally train. So unless it's a brand new driver I trained, I don't trust him and I'm not sorry to say that.

I need your trust and i'll provide u with guarantors. even landed property as surety. Help me!
