My gearbox was licking oil and I went to a mechanic, they told me that is from the gearbox pump which i changed and it was moving fine. as i was driving, I slow down at a police check point. And when i tried to accelerate it was not driving. But it reverse.

Go for a Camry within the same generation

Good morning my people,

I need answers to why my Toyota corolla 2005 model makes a whistle sounds for about 3mins when I start the car in the morning or anytime the car engine is cold.
It doesn't make this sounds when the engine has been running for say 30mins and I off and start it again before the engine goes cold.

A rewire told me it's the fan engine that was making the noise but after changing, it turns out not to be the cause.

What could be the culprit, pls.

Go for the Accord. It is solid and reliable.
The Altima is a nice ride, but based on first car I will advise against it.
Toyota people won't tell you about oil burn and compressor issues.
Google is your friend, I suggest you compare and contrast.

Please my Camry 2008 AC stop cooling yesterday. It was working very fine before it stop cooling while using it. Now it only blow air. No cooling at all. I took it to a AC technician he said the compressor failed. Please advise what could be the cause and the solution.

But some people will keep driving the car even with weird sound on the suspension area, they will drive until the leg comes off.

If you want choose to have minimal issues and addons, Camry cld be a good choice.
But if you want something more classic, not minding the cost; Honda is a lovely choice.

I wanted to buy a Nissan pathfinder 2004 model from a friend. He drive the car so smoothly with speed as I sat beside him.

But by the time I told him to allow me to drive, I was expecting V6 engine to pick once I marsh down.

but as I accelerate the car mashing down once, from 20-30 in expectation that the car should fire once, it jerk and slow down.

He was claiming it not something serious.

Pls I need expert advice. Should i be worried.

He claimed the engine is a new one.

Although he told me catalyst has been stolen from the exhaust.

Scan that car and post codes. We shall take it up from there by giving advice based on the codes you post.

The one that's pissing me off right now is that after I moved the driver seat backwards to pick up my pen, this useless seat won't come back to my usual driving position. The thing is stuck. The part where my back leans moves front and back normal, the part I seat on with my buttocks goes up and down but not front. I don tireee. Pls anybody get ideas?

It's normal with fords. Get a spanner and locate the seat motor and tap it while holding the button to slide it back. The motor brushes are either losing contact or an electrical malfunction.


That said, what I posted is for short term fix. You need to take out the seat and have the bad motor properly repaired.

Pls this motor is a Lexus es300 03. I found a fix on YouTube for Camry 2002 but I tried it, detached everything with a screw driver but the last part was somewhat different and e no work.
