I recently washed my engine and on starting there was no issues. Latter that same day I started hearing a strange sound from the engine, my mechanic checked and said my compressor bearing is bad. The ac cools very well. I drive a 2010 camry. Is their any solution to this apart from getting a new compressor

Even when I don't switch on my AC, the fan just blows from the vent at interval.

My Toyota sienna 2004 model is having AC issues, each time I fill gas it lasts only a month till my AC guy told me the valve at the compressor is leaking which I gave him money to fix and refill the gas but unfortunately it only lasted for 24hrs and everything leaked out, now it's blowing hot

My toyoga hilux after filling the gas the Ac was blowing well but after a few weeks only the vent from the passengers side is blowing cold the other side is blowing hot

About a week ago, my car (Camry 2010) AC started working differently (passenger side cold, drivers side blowing normal /hot air).
Ac guy said it was a bad compressor+leakage and needed to change it and a few other things (condenser and pipes) .
Basically changed all he complained about and when we got done , AC would only get cold when on P and loose its coldness when on motion but he got his rewire friend to check and fix this and everything is working perfectly fine


Well fast forward to 2 days after I'm back to my first problem

I immediately went for a refill , after the refill, the Cold air wasn't top notch, also the drivers vent was blowing warm air , but the other vents was blowing cold air ... The AC guy suggested my valve wasn't good , he suggested I should drive it around for a day and give him feedback, a day later all the vents started blowing hot air , I went back to his garage he removed the radiator and Condenser , he checked the Compressor , from his diagnosis he said the compressor is bad .. that it's turning almost at will ( free will) ... He suggested I should change the compressor and condenser also the valve. .. he suggested manual Compressor , that the Automatic compressor will pack up real soon .... When we went to buy the Automatic compressor like I insisted , on getting to the Tokunbo shop , the sellers said they won't give me any warranty for the compressor, it's at owners risk ... Please what's you guys suggestions What happened to my Ac is it a packed up Compressor Should I go about getting the manual Compressor fitted

clean the ac filter. My friend do experience it when he's on high speed. Filter was cleaned and it's all good now... the ac filter can be cleaned by urself, no need to take it to any mechanic... if after cleaning the filter and issue persist, now you can visit nearest mechanic near you

Pls my 2010 camry ac compressor makes a lot of noise when engine is running. Ac works very fine. Can the bearing be repaired
