I want to know if it is safe to delete Google play services. The app keeps running in my background and using 40% of my ram.
I can't optimize or force stop it because apparently infinix made it untouchable

I've used Adb command to uninstall phone master, YouTube go, as well as other useless & pathetic follow-come apps

The reason why I haven't done the same with Google play services is because some claim all Google apps are linked to it. Will Google Chrome, playstore, Gmail and other relevant Google apps work without it?

You can only disable it with ADB, but you can't uninstall it. It's a system App.
If you disable, most of your apps won't work without it.

You can give it a try to satisfy your conscience, factory reset the phone to come back to normal.

Do you have a pc?

There's another way to do it without pc sha, but Im not familiar with it.

Root the phone. Remove all useless system apps, including google play services. Remove the root if you like, then then download and install google play services again. This time it will be a user app, therefore you can manipulate it as you choose.

Note: Be careful not to remove essential system apps.

You can't even uninstall it, it's impossible to uninstall it. You can only disable it and your applications will malfunction as you'll be getting an error messages like 'your Application has stopped working' which can be frustrating at times.

I soft bricked my device while trying to root it with magisk about 3 months ago. I had to pay 4k with the man even telling that it was a 50/50 job. Also, I gave him to root it for me, but he couldn't after almost 2 hours of trying

Is there a way to safely root without any risk of bricking?
Bcus the last time I did, I watched many YouTube tutorials and also read articles from XDA forum. Im sure I didn't make any mistake

I've disabled almost all the apps that came with my phone. I've never gotten any error message like that.

Meanwhile, Google play services is currently running in my dad's phone. But still the phone displays that error in every 5 minutes. If not even less.

I doubt if Google play services is the cause of it.

guy, once you uninstall it you won't be able to update any app from Google play store. Your phone will still work fine but your apps will be outdated

I've tried rooting using magisk before but soft bricked my device. I read many tutorials on Xda forum so im positive I made no mistake.
Also, I tried installing TWRP but was shocked to see that they were not available for infinix phones yet. Embarrassing
