But what happens when you're cooking two different meals that get done at different times?

Would you let the other meal burn?
Or would you scoop out the meal that has done, and let the pot burn?

Most meals have different cooking time lengths...

put off the gas, jejely transfer that food that is done to somewhere...you are left with two options then, you can either return the pot to the gas with the other food and the other space empty or you use the space for something else. Simple.

Heating dirty water that's not needed is still a waste that the owner is trying to avoid in the first place. This is not a solution to anything.

No 2 food has same cooking time. Definitely one will burn or uncooked.

So how do you it? Start cooking the longer one first before the second?
