1.Limited training spaces.(UK has that problem)...infact many students from Ireland go aboard to study. Including ironically, the same Eastern Europe.

2.Very high entrance standards (they may not look at you unless you have something like 3 A stars at A level)

Exactly, many British, Americans, Germans, Irish and Canadians studied/and still study in Romania. It's affordable and same standard obtainable within the EU.

At the end, everyone will have to defend their certificates, irrespective of how they got it.

Equipments and training are different things entirely. Clinical exposure is poor in Russia. There is issue of language barrier because most patients speak Russia.

I have seen well trained and renown consultants check medical books for correlations and symptomatology even in the midst of clinical activities. There is no shame in getting better clarification on medical issues while making clinical decisions, and Google happens to be the quickest reference library for all professionals especially physicians.

It is nothing but sheer and misguided arrogance for any professional to think he is so well versed that he fails or refuses to cross-check other references or even ask other colleagues especially outside his area of specialty.

Additionally, apps like Medscape and Emdex in soft copies are easier to use on phone to cross check drug dosage than using outdated hardcopies or worst still, prescribing Drugs without being 100% sure of the dosage.

he carried this wayward habit and exported into Romania inspite of the scarce Forex that was spent on the youngman for his medical training.
If one is to calculate money spent, it will be running into tens of millions of naira.

They go about wasting resources to spend and shop extravagantly, party all day all night just to intimidate, oppress, choke the host with their looted wealth (yes it is stolen cos someone that worked really hard for his money will not spend it recklessly) instead of sitting their ass down to study.
