The official defintion of an arab , include also the people who use arabic as first language ! Thats the case of most arabic countries . I held this your assertion, but now having a few doubts as to whether the Nubians were the original Pharaohs of Egypt! Maybe blacks were the original inhabitants of the area then known as Egypt, but during the era of the great Pharaohs of Egypt, i doubt a Nubian dynasty started the line of succession. I know there was a period when Nubians were Pharaohs, but that may have been for a brief spell in the overall period Pharaohs ruled Egypt.

The main reason i question the theory that Nubians were the main and original pharaohs of Egypt is that most if not all the mummies uncovered have long caucasian hair, and the drawings you see of them have them painted as light-skinned!
