How does this escapist rant explain why Ironsi destroyed the true federalism that would have in instilled the culture of discipline and spirit of hard work in Nigerians, thus preventing this attitude of laziness which causes drunkenness in the SS and drug trafficking and get rich quick mentality in the SE?

We all agreed to true federalism and resource control during the London1958 Constitution Conference which birthed the Independence Constitution. We practised that resource control from 1960 till 1966 when your brother Ironsi came, and in pursuit of Azikiwe's fraudulent one-Nigeria, shattered that constitution and replaced the most vital federal provisions in it with offensive centripetal decrees which took powers from the regions and deposited it at the center thus bringing about the center becoming in control of everything to the advantage of the North today. How exactly is that the fault of the Niger Deltans whom you term drunkards and idiots? Was Ironsi a Niger Deltan?

From Calabar to Warri, I have been told severally how Nnamdi Azikiwe enslaved the South to the North. Now, seeing there is no UNITY in the South, the North can do anything, the Southern legislators at the National Assembly have seen the error of Zik and the foundation problem, they are only at the National Assembly to make money. Whenever they are invited to Villa for Presidential Dinner, any Bill sponsored by the North would be approved by majority of them.

. Yes Ironsi is responsible for my laziness and your own laziness too which presents itself as the get rich quick mentality that propels you into drug trafficking, money rituals and all other vices. Ironsi's military intervention brought about all the other military rulers. If Ironsi had exercised discipline and adhered to the oath of office he took as Army GOC to defend and protect the Independence Constitution in all circumstances, we wouldn't have ever had the other soldiers coming to power later.
Nigeria was founded on mutual interethnic suspicion hence the agreement on federalism. Common sense therefore dictated that any breach of that federal arrangement would lead to a situation of total erosion of trust and a resultant dog eat dog situation which would linger on for long by way of everyone now taking advantage of the chaotic situation to his own selfish advantage without consideration for the original agreement. So your insinuation that the coming to power of other military rulers absolves Ironsi does not make sense. Ask yourself if there is any country in the world where military ever intervened in politics and the originally agreed structure of governance by the political leaders remained intact thereafter.

Am not ijaw am proudly Igbo from imo state so u mean igbos in the nass should work with their northern colleagues to delete the little %13 derivation inserted in the constitution for oil producing states because biafra is not yet a independent nation does that make any sense?

They should remove it immediately. I am from south east and I support it. In Ghana and the rest of the world particularly Russia, Norway Scotland etc , crude oil revenue is shared equally, so why must our own be different. Besides this Niger delta governors are just greedy street urchins. Look at akwa ibom for example, the state has collected more money than the five south eastern state put together since 1999 from Federal government but yet very little to show for it. imagine anambra and ebonyi state managing the very little they have to build world class airport.

The igbos were very influential in the passage of the 13% derivation bill and the creation of the NDDC, if you guys don't know. When it comes to fighting for biafra, Niger deltas just keep quiet and allow the igbos to be used as punch bags or bulletproof, now they should dance to the music.

Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and other PDP Senators from the Southeast and Southsouth voted for the 16% to remain as it is, but they lost to the majority.


Senator Abaribe also made this public without fear accusing the APC Senators of voting against it, which made that your rubber stamp Senate President Ahmed Lawan to sanction Senator Abaribe and other Senators from granting Press interviews on Senate private resolutions.

If there is no event, there won't be news to report or even history. Dora forced the event to happen, leading to agitations and pressures on the legislators, culminating in making Jonathan an "acting President". This was after obviously a heavy internal fight within the cabinet to pretend all is fine. How manage you failed to spot the elephant in the room? Is it because it will give small credit to Igbos?
