It is a standard practice when a prisoner is remanded in prison by a court without bail. The chain is involved if the remanded person has proven to be violent.

The case is no longer with police .. it's now iwht court. Therefore she remains with them pending when her fate is determined .

With my little knowledge about trials, once she is charged to court and depending on the severity of the charges, she will remain in prison until the final judgement and in her own case, if she can meet up with the bail condition, she will be free meaning she will attend court sittings from home henceforth.

I doubt if she can afford that amount, so she will remain in prison custody until the final judgement.
