Was the United team ever balanced b4?? I don’t think so they were trying to find balance and still unstable. They just played against weaker clubs last season so weren’t really tested. In my honest opinion, Ronaldo is not to be blamed, the coach lacks tactics, Ole is conversant with (and only has confidence) in using his 4-2-3-1 tactics he lacks the confidence and courage to take the risk of changing tactics to accommodate or address the team's shortcomings (defence and defensive-midfield).

Secondly, he's player biased, in Man UTD's most recent games, Maguire should have been on the bench.

Finally, Ole is too obsessed with attack (to the detriment of other sections such as midfield and defence); the acquisition of Sancho was an unneeded luxury.

A team like United that has strugled for a while do not need a Ronaldo at this time of their history... they need players that will add adhesive to their team effort and not players who feel they must take the credit at all times.
