So I have been experiencing this issue with GTBank, a whole lot of failed transactions that I get debited for and the transaction never get reversed, whenever I go to bank to complain, there are over 100 people waiting for customer care and most of the time I can't wait cos I have to go to work, when I do eventually wait and see an agent after literally waiting the whole day, I get "the transaction will be reversed within 48 hrs" but nothing happens.

Most of the time I try to recharge my mifi, or get airtime or sometimes even USSD transfer, i get debited and the transaction fails and my money never gets reversed.

I am really frustrated and tired of this, I am thinking about closing my account and moving to another bank, the only reason am still sticking with them is because I receive salary from that account.

Is anyone banking with GTB experiencing this also??

I just experienced this last week. You must be in Ikotun for this is where it happens most and where you see the crowd.

I have had to be going there physically. Last Friday saw me going there as early as 6am.

But since you have to go to work, I will advice you go to GTbank branches near your work place, preferably in non market areas like Ikeja and Island. They don't have crowds and they are prompt in their customer service.

Make sure you devote time to follow them up physically, otherwise they might not attend to you. Make sure you have evidence of your transactions. Good luck.
