In Man U, conte will expect him to either take the role of dictating play or one of the marker. He is one of the reason Ole got confused, he can’t bench him. Cr7 present restricted the way Ole played with the team last season.

Luke Shaw caused all the 5 goals. This was a problem with his defending mentioned two and a half years ago. He was always drifting inside while defending thereby exposing his flank for attack.

Klopp must have read his game and utilised it. Liverpool did not do anything special other than to utilize the bad positioning of Shaw. Ole on his part did not appear to have read this quickly.
