Okay, so because you have "Zero" in your name, you want a breakdown of what each mention of "Zero" stands for. Lol grin

I had no better tag for the takes you lots gave in the posts I came across. "Zero" describes it best especially as none of you have watched Amoo for a full 90mins. Not even once. And since you are among the "ignorants" in this case, what better name to class you all as except Zero? Well, that's just what came to mind. So no be only you I carry for mind abeg. You aren't that important, trust me. wink grin

And again, you don't follow the Swedish Allsvenskan and how they compile their stats and performance indexes for TOTW. They have been spot on for positions. Even Naija wonderkid, Ishaq Abdulrazak made TOTW only as a Wingback as seen below which reflects his performance that week in same position and is also the position he executes predominantly for IFK Norrköping.

And I have done little enough explaining it. So if you like, wallow in your ignorance because of pride or because it's coming from Nerdie whom thou detest so much.

Fact is you cannot hold a strong argument against proper unbiased Eye test

Abeg... we are done here. grin

Philosopher1979:

I don't understand why winning a penalty that was converted does not count as an assist. I mean, that is ignorant on part of most sites. I started taking most sites less seriously when I noticed this trend. You do not have to be an expert to know that winning a penalty is important. Anyone knows that talk less of winning 2 penalties. Some sites can be funny. Winning a penalty should count as chance created to any sensible human being

It is the way the stats work for many of the renowned stats sites. They only count it as Penalties won AND NOT as assists and don't even give more light to it when the Eventual penalties won are converted.

It is what we have to deal with for now until something changes. Even Sadiq Umar won a good amount of penalties last season for Almeria but that was hardly mentioned.

Karim Adeyemi has won 4 pens in the UCL this season alone (already a record) and that was given some media attention only because it happened in the UCL (the grandest stage of the club football in the beautiful game today).

So my good Philosopher, it is up to us to throw more light on those "under the carpet" stats folks don't know or don't focus on.

This is why I don't like Superficial and anyhow analyses. I love to look at all the angles if possible.

Osimhen on Thursday was beastly and Highly influential in that Napoli win but those who follow goals scored-only and scorelines-only will not know this.

It is well. We keep moving. wink

2 Reasons Why Nigeria May Be The First African Team To Win The World Cup Competition Next Year

opera.com
The desire and prayer of every team are to win the World Cup which is regarded as one of the biggest football competitions in history. In recent years, we have seen top European teams win the World Cup completion, but an African country is yet to win the World Cup.

The World Cup has mostly been donated by European countries and South American countries. Examples of some of these European and South American countries include Brazil, Germany, Italy, Argentina, and others.

Next year, the World Cup competition would return to our screens as top countries from different parts of the world would be hoping to win the completion. Among these countries, one African Country that may likely win the World Cup is the Nigeria national team.

The Nigerian national team may likely emerge as the first team to win the World Cup competition next year due to 2 reasons. Check out the 2 reasons below.

1) Front-Line Attackers

The first reason why Nigeria may be the first African team to win the World Cup competition is due to their front-line attackers.

The World Cup competition which would begin next year would feature one of the best attack-line which comprises Iheanacho, Victor Osimhen, and Paul Onuachu. All 3 players are currently among the best strikers in Europe as they are doing very well for their team.

The combination of Iheanacho's shot power, Victor Osimhen's burst-up play, and the strength of Paul Onuachu may likely cause problems for their opposition which would be a boost to the team.

2) Defensive Strength

The second reason why Nigeria may be the first African team to win the World Cup is due to their defensive strength. Nigeria has a very strong defense as the defenders are currently doing well.

The solidity of the defense is also a result of the presence of one of the best defensive midfielders in Wilfred Ndidi. Overall, the defensive strength of Nigeria may likely be key to Nigeria winning the World Cup competition next year.
The write up n d blogger is empty but not entirely wrong about the first country to win d WC 4 africa.
Nigeria and ghana seems to be two countries with d winning mentality n d character to challenger those european n d south americans for the WC someday

You observed well on Amoo. Dude is adept at both AM and the wings (RW predominantly). Just depends on what tactical formation is deployed.

One of the players they misjudged here ,very underrated ,after 1 game for the eagles peeps here started calling him flop ,some of them later blamed rohr after they saw they judged him wrongly ,some of them said he is old

Now if you ask those people who called him flop to mention current super eagles players who where good at their debut they won’t mention up to 10

Nwakaeme is the alejandro Gomez of naija football ,dude is pure class

Once you are 30 my brothers here won’t rate you ,but once you are at your early 20s you are the best thing after goat meat pepper soup ,those players on their early 20s now will surely reach their 30s one day .

You are directing your grievance to the wrong persons.. "Those people", "some people", "my brothers"....replace all that with "Rohr"... Rohr made the decision to stop calling him and rather stick with Musa and an ineffective Simon...

You are whining...Why not mention the "some people".. You are talking as if everybody here was against him...He performed poorly in that Algeria game and was rightly criticised... Who said he shouldn't be called up again? Mention them...

A few weeks ago, somebody said Awoniyi shouldn't be invited again because of his performance against CAR... People have left him be.. But somehow, you seem to have taken the Nwaekeme issue serious, cus anytime he score, you talk about the "some people"...

Blame Rohr not anybody else.... Rohr will still call up Awoniyi for the next games despite what someone said about him after the CAR game.

Amoo is an AM that can also play on the wings: Stop your ignorance

And I read some comments on Amoo.

Do you see why it is bad for football analysis to allow ignoramuses contribute to something they have absolutely "Zero knowledge" about? grin

How can someone seriously be using Transfermrkt to ask if Amoo is even an AM when we know not everything on Transfermrkt is accurate. As one who is experienced and skilled in the use of various football sites, I can easily decipher which info to use and which to ignore even from sites as Transfermrkt.

I remember having to call out and Correct World renowned Whoscored and Sofascore on twitter for an error made on Alhassam Yusuf and they responded swiftly. These sites are not immune to errors or some form of inaccuracy and that is why it is better to make out time and watch these lads for yourselves to form an authoritative opinion on them.

How many time are you going to lazily depend on some sites alone to rate a player when you have Zero eye test knowledge of him? Lol

In the Swedish Allsvenskan recently, Amoo has been played in Attacking Midfield from the right channel of the Central attacking third in a 3-5-2. He's played as one of two advanced AMs in front of the DM, with a Wingback running the right channels.

This is when he is not used as a RW in a 4-3-3 which is where he featured in for most of last season (his debut season) and for some good part of the current season.

Also, Transfermrkt were confused about what position he occupied in a 3-5-2 and that is why they put him as CM in a few games when infact, he was playing AM with his heatmap focused on the right to central areas of the Central Attacking Midfield third.

Even the official Allsvenskan TOTW placements of Amoo gives this away easily just in case you haven't been watching him closely like I have.

He's made the TOTW in Sweden twice as an AM. 3 times overall. Once as a LW and twice as an AM which is again testament to the analyses I gave dropped several times before that the lad is adept both as a Winger and in the AM role.

Predominantly, he plays RW when on the wings yet he made TOTW as a LW.

In Conclusion, try to watch before you type and drop silly takes abeg. Ignorant takes hurt proper football analyses.
It's funny walking in here and reading the baby-like takes of some folks. Especially that one on Ighalo. Chaaiiiii.... God help us on this thread. grin

Grazie!!!

Nobody is seeing what am seeing. This boy (just 1 year older than Ansu fati) if integrated gradually into the eagles, can make super eagles dreadful again. Skillful, good goal instincts and shot, low center of gravity, etc. He can effortlessly play in absence of Iwobi or chukwueze

Some people ,are you among some people ?

Since I am talking to some people and not you why are you so bothered ?

What is wrong is calling out some people for calling a player a flop after just one game as if all super eagles players where superb on their debuts ,is Nwakaeme the first and only player that perform poorly against Algeria ?
