There is no mention of or guidelines on gift deed by IRCC. What is commonly shared here on NL are the opinions of men (and women) based on the experiences of many and conjecture.

In the west, it would be very unusual (not impossible but not the norm) for someone to give out 13k in dollars to a friend/someone not in his family, unless it was seed capital (which is to investment not a gift). This may be why people suggest parents or siblings as the donor in the gift deed. The closer the family member/relationship, the more believable from a VO's perspective, I guess.

13k is a lot of money generally speaking...and remember POF is not a loan.

does not matter whose account the money is. Provide the 6 months statement to show its not a lump sum. Not needed if its from gift deed or sale of assets.

Assuming you are the PA, ideal is bank letter in IRCC format. Most bank letters do not have average balance for 6 months so applicants often include 6 months worth of statements as a replacement. IRCC requires you show proof that you have access to funds if it's in an account that has only accompanying spouse’s name.

Accra VO issued PR 3 days ago, for expired copr and pnp for the almost forgotten AOR Feb 2020. I know 2 peeps that got.
