In any sane environment....it doesn't matter the specific crime a person committed. A person can be arrested by any security personnel including the military and the case is handed over to the right agency investigation and then to charge the offenders to court..

If you look like one and you drive a car as a TASUED student, and you're stopped by a soldier, just explain politely your source of income, if it's legit, they let you go.
