Going by some of the above, the harlot in the bible would have been stoned to that. School could have given her a suspension for a year with a mandate that she writes her o'levels but school being school ransacked her.

I'm sure if this school was in a civilised country, she would at first be encouraged for coming up straight and letting them know the truth before they found out themselves.

You have a serious problem with yourself, what do you mean by reintegrate her successfully into the society? Is she an ex convict?

Deeper life helped her in being in tune with God and being born again, she simply did what she feel is right in order to have a free conscience by confessing her ongoing sin, all she needs to do is re-write another Olevel and pass simple. Your personal beef with some persons in the church is not a yardstick to condemn the church as a whole.

There is something I'm not getting here. Are you telling me that the same set of people who persuaded her was the man who head the organization where she was condemned,belong? (I don't want to mention church name)

Common where is Christianity? Where is the example of the harlot brought to Jesus to be condemned by the stone carrying Jews among other examples?

Imagine what religion has turned Africans to (I'm a Christian too but a sane one)

In as much as this is not OK, I think there is a better way things could have been done. I thought it is well accepted that the Holy Spirit is the spirit of wisdom? Right thing can still be done without having to hurt anyone.

Now how do they help her to be reintegrated to the system she was condemned? At least, they've got to show the redeeming power of Christ. And thank God, the man who head the organization belong to the same set of people who persuaded her in the first place.

There's more to life after her expulsion, she can sit for another exam and also keep the work of faith burning in her life..

Meanwhile, even if she doesn't come out to breakup her fallow ground and reveal her fake result, do you think there won't be boomerang in the future..

I don't think both of you are wrong. One sees from the spiritual, the other from the moral. The perfect example here still stands on the harlot brought to Jesus. What the harlot did was totally wrong morally but yet Christ never saw it that way. The law is moral, the faith of grace is non comprehensible. It is love.

One thing is sure, not all moralities are spiritual. There is a way you expect something to go and there is a way God directs them. Many examples are in the Bible, of people who were morally wrong, yet God seemed to appear not to go in that direction.

There is no record of whatsoever of sins of someone who is of God but humans, I doubt. How do you feel to have your resident pastor in a scandal of a forged O'level results?

If that happens to be a pastor in my church, I wouldn't be bothered at all. Humans sometimes could be complicated by their experiences, by their pasts and negativity takes advantage of that. it is between her and God and if that is settled and she's got issues with the human morality aspect, she's got to deal with that. But as for me, I'd rather go with the God thing.

To be justified by God means, just as if you've not sinned.

She was wrongly taught, such practice is not in line with the New Testament practices.

Hello Sir, what the lady did was right but what the provost did was wrong.
It is the right of every believer to forgive, may I ask you what will it cost the provost to forgive her? The answer is absolutely nothing.
Jesus Christ himself said, he gave us the power to forgive sins, He said whatever sin you forgive is forgiven and whatever sin you do not forgive will not be forgiven.
Now, the lady has done this in her times of ignorance, and the Bible says the time of ignorance God has winked at.
So, what's the biblical rationale behind her expulsion?
The scriptures that says we should confess our secret faults to one another in the book of James is to the end that we might be healed, restored and free from guilt. Now that she confessed her secret fault, which is the right thing to do, the decision of that provost to bring her before panel is such a disgraceful thing.
Where is doctrine of Justification in all of these.
This is erroneous application of doctrines without the help of the Holy Spirit.
I pray the HolyGhost bring consolation to that sister and next time, she should know the Word of God for herself and be guided by God's wisdom and righteousness which is of Christ and not of man.
