No we dont have a borehole here, boreholes are not a sure water provision option in cities like Enugu with a very low water table. We only did a shallow water well before, and its not supplying us with enough water. We decided to build this new one that will be very deep.

Yesterday, we bought some bamboo for use in strengthening the one we used to hang the roof eaves. We are working to provide a safer working environment for all the workers who will use this scaffolding to work.

My carpenters will move this morning to start working on the scaffolding.

Plumbing piping works also planned to start today.

I am asking because I am currently working on the copping (plaster) but wants to know if the same scaffold can be used for plastering (external) in 3 to 6 months time.

When done well, bamboo scaffolding can last for as long as 6 months, but it should be checked periodically for areas with weaker links and repaired.

My brother. I believe they can drill borehole shallow too, may be just 8 to 10 meters won’t they get the same results? Anyway you no the area better then us.

during my time working on this site, I spoke to many residents about the unavailability of borehole water. They said that once you're 10-25ft deep, you start getting coal in and around Enugu metropolis.

What I observed is that they have this well which someone seeps water and the water level rises during the rainy season and it's almost over during the dry season.
