Base on report coming from the chief Scout of the Nff today . Ademola lookman still have to wait for a while before making his first appearance for the super eagles. The Nff is yet to apply for a switch of nationality I pray they process it on time before afcon In January

coaches select by performance and experience. Brazil have miranda 37, Thiago Silva 37 , Sandro 30, Danilo, Coutinho 29, even Alves 38 yrs and unattached. They didn't call for Vinicius and Richarlison.I don't argue on Nairaland but undermining the importance of experience in football is like calling apple orange
We saw Thiago Silva come to Chelsea and show high quality defending. He showed pure class. He is in the team not because of experience but quality. Same can be said for Danilo, Sandro and co. You play for quality not experience.

Finito.

It means you are not only quarrelling with Rohr but with the Ivorian coach too. Most people are just programmed to argue every point here. Month ago I called Ejuke a Magician some people descended on me but today he is rated the third best dribbler in the world.

If you leave out better players in the name of experience, then you are doing a poor coaching job.

Finito.

Some peeps will just sit down in front of a system and pass demeaning judgment on players who went from nothing to playing in some of the world's top clubs and leagues. Wow! Astonishing! Try am if e easy!
If these exceptional talents are average, then what are you?

Zuchy you said Brazil.

Pls do we really have any player at 34 playing in top league even Odion Ighalo at 32 is in Saudi,Mikel at 34 in Kuwait.....Thiago Silva in Chelsea,Danilo in Juventus,Sandro in Juventus.

Pls tell me when Miranda and Daniel Alves played for Brazil last.....Richarlison and Vinicius were part of the team that played last Copa and Coutinho didn't make last Copa.
They played in September. Vinicius and richarlison is not in their last squad. Check to confirm. Richarlison and Vinicius are not in the current squad

TheGoodJoe:
Rhor might slowly ease Ighalo in but if we are up against tough offensive sides, don't get shocked if Rhor starts Ighalo ahead of Osimhen.

If Rhor is going conservative, he will likely start Ighalo ahead because Ighalo suits that style more.

This is what happens when coaches that prefer a conservative approach against top teams. Remember how the likes of Lukaku, Mata, De Bruyne, Salah, and David Luiz did not suit Mourinho at Chelsea.

That is why Rhor can prefer to start Awaziem as a right-back over the likes of Aina and Ebuehi.

Mourinho is a defensive-minded manager and wants his back four to always worry about the worst-case scenario, rather than what will happen if everything goes right – which is the mentality of Luiz, and why he didn’t fit in at Chelsea... From Independent on Why Mourinho sold David Luiz

Rhor's mindset is that the opposition are better and the team must shape up to nullify their greatness. He does not coach with the mentality that his side is better.

I think this is the biggest reason why we should start sticking to indigenous coaches. No matter how we put it, we believe in ourselves more than these foreign coaches do.

We believe we are exceptional and can achieve great things. These white coaches see us as incapable.

So with all the flair and gifts of our players, Rhor does not see it. That is why he needs more defenders than midfielders.

Your eyes for talent is 100%
charlesemeka85:
Genk have expressed confidence that newly signed defender Mujaid Sadick Aliu is ready to take the next big step of his career.

The Belgian club have signed 21-year-old central defender Sadick, whose father is Nigerian and mother Ghanaian, from Spanish club Deportivo La Coruna for the next four seasons.

“Mujaid is ready to take it one step further,” Genk Sports director Dimitri De Conde said.

“We believe he has a bright future ahead of him. He is young and strong, very fast and unyielding as a defender.

“Our schedule next season will be a lot more filled with European football. we need a slightly wider selection. Mujaid gives us extra options in the back. “

Sadick was born in Logroño, in the northeast of Spain. He has a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother. He has the Spanish and Nigerian nationality, but has already represented Spain at the national U18 and U19.

He turned 21 in March. Five years ago he entered the Deportivo youth categories. Two years later, then trainer Clarence Seedorf made him debut in the Primera División.

Sadick has remained loyal to Depor in recent turbulent seasons and developed into a strong modern central defender at the club.

I made mention of arsenals tim akinola here last night on how he is on the verge of a first debut for the gunners and also about his rumored interest in playing for us but it was shrugged off due to negativity that have eaten deep of many here

Can’t wait for him to taste first team football this season to prove many wrong
