He has 4 goals and 2 assists in 13 matches no dey put it in bold like he has done anything special, Musa has 63 goals and 33 assists in 184 matches for Cska and Ejuke has a long way to go before he gets there
That he is currently the highest goal scorer and and no player has surpassed him in assists should tell you something.

If his dribbling is all you see, then just admit that you don't watch him.

na that same problem many have here. just because ejuke have managed to dance pass to or three CAR players makes him better than musa at his prime, i laugh

musa's records at cska are tantalizing which made Leicester pay huge to bring him to england and i doubt if ejuke will match his feat in the moscow based club

no disrespect to ejuke, he is an enterprising young player who still have enough time to develop but i repeat i doubt if he can match musa's record with the moscow based side
grin grin grin abeg bro which kind of dance nothing concern me for the argument na the kind of dance me dey interested in wink grin grin

Yes you are right,4 World Cup goals no be moi moi....I always supporting Musa with that 4 goals but I now realized I need to stop it.

Musa was given the chance at a young age and he did well and whether we like it or not age is no respecter of anyone...Musa of today is different from Musa of yesterday,so there is need to give player like Ejuke needed chance, possibly he might be better than Musa.

I never rate Kalu and Simon but Ejuke is a pure class and I would be delighted seeing Lookman in SE colour with Ejuke and Chuckwueze.
I remember, the same way people r excited about ejuke now was the same way people were when musa first came into d scene.

There was a time musa was a hot cake in nigeria football,
U-20,u-23 and the super eagles all wanted him to play 4 them at d same time.

But musa of today should just respect himself n give way for d younger ones immediately he officially set his new record.

He has 4 goals and 2 assists in 13 matches because none of his teammates managed to surpassed make the stats any special?

In contrast his dribbling is one of the best in Europe in relation to his goalscoring confirming my point that his other attributes are not above average yet

Musa was a hazardous winger in his prime no doubt

The big question you should ask....who is replacing them? a retired player or a mediocre.

A mediocre player who is the current top scorer in Saudi league and the current AFCON golden boot holder. Nigerians are too emotional and sentimental

A player who has just four goals and is the highest goal scorer for his club, should tell you something.
It should tell you that the current CSKA is not a team that scores a lot of goals and there are reasons for this.
No player has surpassed him in assists.

Don't forget that footballing is teamwork

I highlighted his goals and assists because you guys brought it up as a metric for appraisals, and not on his overall contribution to how the team plays..

Ndidi doesn't need Afcon or WC to move to a better club...he should just keep it going in EPL,with good management he has everything to be there...check Dennis moved to Watford, pure agent work.

I heard that Ndidi is being manage by a new management team.

Be bold and tell us why they were dropped...

Sancho is on a poor run of form and has been replaced by Rashford..

Greenwood was dropped because he and his family told Southgate that he wanted to be excused...

Neither of them were dropped due to "inexperience" or any other comical excuse you have been making for Rohr... It's Albania and San Marino they are playing against

Guy no think that way, if I remember well, anytime Rohr grant an interview, he always mention Ighalo, if that one no tell you something

then honestly tell me what was shehu and musa still doing in SE, it had been the coach desire to recall Ighalo from day 1, Pinnick got nothing to do with it,

instead you should be asking, what had the technical department of the Nff been doing, approving such lists, and why, it's there you will know who pocket what

As for bubu I don't support him from day 1,
don't even vote for him, so sorry bro, you got it wrong

You dey mind that guy... He is so desperate to convince people that Rohr is doing the right thing...

Imagine, after his talk about England regretting taking rookies like Saka to the Euros, those rookies are still in the team... Old man Vardy who is England best striker after Kane hasn't been recalled for any reason...Rather,it's another rookie,Tammy Abraham that's being called up...

Sir,we are all Nigerians and nobody would tell me he loves this country than I do and my love for super eagles no be small thing o and I don't need to open up here cos I don't need it.

Sir,nothing like sentiment or emotional talks here....I asked you simple question, are those players you mentioned going out of the team for a retired player or a mediocre?not referring to Ighalo as mediocre.

I think your post is all about young and experience and to tell us why we still need Ighalo, that England are likely to drop the young ones, pls are they dropping them for Vardy or any mediocre....pls answer me.

Mind you I supported Ighalo here but I don't see any reason for his recalling which is my opinion and since your opinion still stand based on his experience,no wahala.

We all here for Super Eagles success.

Let's be real... Why would Ighalo pay his way back into the national team? what's there for him to gain? Will he get a bigger club to sign him because he's back in the team, or will he be getting paid more than what he currently earns at his club?

This is simply Rohr and Pinnick cluelessness at play..
Rohr has no idea how to improve the team, and Pinnick can't sack Rohr because of the ridiculous pay out he gave him in his new contract, so they are both clowning around....
I beg to differ with you a little sir,

and I think Pinnickhad been fingered enough here,

the blame should laid on Rohr and the Technical department of Nff, who are vested with vetting and approving list for matches,

what had they been doing, or better still why approves list after list that's filled with defenders, thin on midfielders, whyhuh?

in the next 1000 years England will not win a spoon due to their approach. They should learn from Italy and Germany if they wanna be successful. England produce better talents that Germany and Italy but they mess up due to their poor selection. Oga Zuchy,so cos of highly organize EPL and great media hype tells you that England have better talents than Germany and Italy?pls go and ask John Fashanu and bros would tell you that what is going for English teams is good organisation not talents.

Solace Chukwu on goal.com talked about Ahmed Musas limitations in an article
here is a quotation from him

"Musa is rapid still, but has never had the close control, associative play or decision-making to be a consistent threat at a high level when played wide"

Note that these same issues are mentioned which are
1. His close control
2. Decision making
3. Associative play: which is his awareness of his team mates postion on the field of play in relation to his own and his ability to make telling passes to them.

Here is another quotation on why he did not succeed in the premier league

"Sure, his stint in the Premier League did not go so well, but there will be no one more keenly aware of his limitations as a player than the man himself. He quite simply was not good enough to make a mark in that league, and it showed on the handful of occasions he did pull on Leicester blue"

So you see, Musa has limitations to his game he did not work on and with his loss of speed and old age, it has caught up with him.
Against South Africa in the nations cup, his decision making was a problem again.
Chidera Ejuke is tactically and technically better in many aspects of the game and is a finner footballer.
Thank you Philosopher1979.
They have forgotten that the comparison is between Ejuke and Musa.
