Oga a playmaker is someone that assist and score goals...in Andrew context he means one who does so from the centre (midfield) and not wings

So ejuke is not a playmaker when analysed in that context
If your definition of a playmaker is "someone that assists and score goals", then you should know that Ejuke is the highest goal scorer for his club, and also on joint top assists.

Playmaking is not even about goals and assists, it is about how pivotal a player involvement is, in attacking and defensive transitions..

According to Wikipedia,
In association football, a playmaker is a player who controls the flow of the team's play, and is often involved in offensively and defensively play passing moves which lead to goals, through their vision, technique, ball control, creativity and passing ability.

You should also realise that a team can have more than one playmaker and a playmaker may not always operate from the central midfield.

Watch some of his showings in this clip, and tell me if he is not playmaking.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NBVfWc8Tl0U

From the clip, the following attributes are to be reckoned:
Decision making.
Movements
Passing.

His decision making, movements, and passing that lead to his team's victory against Victor Moses's Spartak Moscow, is not even in the clip.

He is currently the highest rated CSKA Moscow player by Whoscored. He doesn't own that rating for nothing.

wait till dey come for you o grin grin grin some people doesn't know there is a certain Augustine Eguavoen who head's the technical department and every list pass through his table and should be the one spear heading the committee to quarry rorh on some of questionable call up on the list, but no they don't see that and amaju should be floged for every mistake on the team list shocked shocked shocked
I think Amaju too much opening to press is the more reason people always mentioning his name...he talked much on Ighalo returns than Rohr himself,so what do we expect Eguavoen technical led team to do.

in the next 1000 years England will not win a spoon due to their approach. They should learn from Italy and Germany if they wanna be successful. England produce better talents that Germany and Italy but they mess up due to their poor selection. You are more likely to win laurels with the likes of Vardy than Bellingham, Sancho, Greenwood and Phil foden and Saka cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy senior international football is not for high school kids
So, what about all those countries that have been parading oldies around... What have they won?

I beg to differ with you a little sir,

and I think Pinnickhad been fingered enough here,

the blame should laid on Rohr and the Technical department of Nff, who are vested with vetting and approving list for matches,

what had they been doing, or better still why approves list after list that's filled with defenders, thin on midfielders, whyhuh?
Pinnick hands are clear enough in this Ighalo recall matter..Or did you miss the post where he mentioned that he personally had a chat with Ighalo which triggered the recall?

then equavon and the technical department should be scraped and stop wasting fund's if they got nothing to do then because I remember they where fully functional when it comes to selecting carpenter's to disgrace us and caused us points against mexico in USA huh huh huh

If Sancho is a Nigerian,They will blame ole or his teammates for his poor club form and blame Southgate for not giving him enough playing time
Which Nigerian player has has his coach and teammates take the blame for his poor club form on this thread?
Mention one!

Or maybe you will mention Osimhen because some folks here often berate Napoli style of play for Osimhen inability to score at times...But that won't count, because Osimhen isn't having any poor run of game...

And who is going to scrap Eguavon's technical department? is it not the same man that appointed them?
The same man that has been appointing mediocre coaches to our national team like Aigbohun and Chris Danjuma...

As far as I'm concerned, the only positive thing Pinnick administration has brought to our football is helping to market the super eagles brand better... especially with the Nike kit deal...
Every other thing is either stagnant or worse from how he meet it...

I always thought Xavi will make a fantastic manager but he reality on ground is that the tiki take formula is now out in the open and many coaches have learnt how to apply it efficiently.

The only thing I think will give Xavi an edge to propel Barca is if he sticks to relying on a high possession formula, higher than what we regularly see.

He will do well but not as easy as if the formula was not in the open.
Hmmm

You might be right sha ,it won’t be easy for him

But Pinnick led team appointed Equaveon as head of technical dept

Equeavon that knows nothing...... not even someone like Amunike
you must understand that the decision did not laid on Pinnick alone, it's a board thing, where majority carried the vote,

let's say for instance, if he put forward Emma for the role, and another member put Austin, so on and forth, then if Austin carried the majority vote,
Amaju cannot stop his appointment, or else it amounts to interference

And since when does having a chat with a player amounts to Automatic call-uphuh

if that's the case, then Tammy and the likes should be playing for us by now

Pinnick didn't have a chat with Ighalo... He persuaded him to come back...The details of his post prove that...

You said Rohr always talked about Ighalo coming back, but it wasn't until Pinnick himself entered the matter that Ighalo really did come back...

Let's not bank on what will be, rather on what is...
And the reality right now is that our football isn't moving forward under Pinnick....

Padi padi style of management is almost normal in Nigeria.. but at least, some yield results...

Aminu Maigari was quite worse than Pinnick, but at least, his administration recorded some success for our national teams, and most importantly,he wasn't asslicking any coach that failed in his duty...

Mr. Thegoodjoe have always been about taking the best in each position.

Going by that, which rookies should have benched the oldies and started for Italy based on quality?
