You actually think Ugbo would have considered Canada if either England or Nigeria wanted him? Lol with all his discreet whatever, what happened with Tomori who was even their former youth team player? Bros, Abeg jee zuo ike biko |

Joebie:I thought u said u leave outside the country ![]() U seems to be so concerned and used to mediocrity or stagnant mode of recruitment We need to embrace global changes and move same pace with the world I hate it when we see nothing wrong or seems to get used to Nigeria administrative lopsidedness Just imagine our female football is going way side already and lots more |

humility33:I really need to bring this to your notice, if you haven't noticed about this yourself before and you need to stop it. You seems to find fault on almost everything that people do, mostly those that are not in your good books. Pinnick or whatever his name is approached these FB privately, you would complain because to you he isn't doing anything because he choose to do it privately, and hr does the same thing publicly, you would still complain that he was supposed to do it privately. Do you know why some persons that indulges in given and helping takes along the media when going to help? It's because of people like you because if they choose to do it privately, you and your kind will complain that these people are wealthy but aren't helping. How does people satisfy guys like you? |

humility33:Using Algeria and Morocco as examples ajust show you actually know nothing about those two teams. Both countries are always open about theirs too. I remember the cases of Ihataran, Munir, younger Khedira, Fekir, El Ghazi, Oussama and many more. Say what you know oga |

Ejaria matter that is public knowledge of where his interest lies This is Pinnick in 2016: "If you talk about Tammy Abraham, he is like my son, his father and I grew up in the same neighborhood. so when they talk about him, I just laugh because I know what to do. As for Ovie Ejaria, I talk with the father often, he just called me recently. These are people we have met and they are all excited about Nigeria," " I am yet to see a Nigerian that is regretting being a Nigerian. No Nigerian, even if they have four or five passports, they are always excited being Nigerians. I can assure you that we shall get them to play for us at appropriate time." |

Joebie:So what happens if after going about it privately it didn't work out and not even the player coming out to say anything in the case or Lookman? Won't he still assumed that nothing was done? See, let me just tell you what I feel is the truth, there is no one that's bad in all ramifications, most times these guys at the NFF works really hard to get genuine results, just like every other in position of authorities. So we shouldn't always complain over everything because sincerely speaking, most of the guys out there today criticizing those in position of authorities will do worst when given same opportunity to fix things and make things right |

ChrisKels:thank you baba, that guy no dey ever satisfy, any small thing, he is on a roll of all comments he had been quoting as per Ikejas case, he is the only one bringing Pinnick into it, .it makes me wonder why |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 4:01pm On Nov 07, 2021 |
I am going to make an allegation not because I see am with my eyes, but because of how we normally do things. And I could still be wrong. There are people in the NFF who sit down on these files and are expecting the parents of these boys to do something before they will move their hands. Why am I saying this? Because this is typically what we do in Nigeria. For those who don't know, do you know that to get a visa interview appointment date in Lagos now, you have to buy a slot? Now we are talking US embassy things oh. When it comes to blatant crude corruption all of us know anything is possible in Nigeria. |

Joebie:"Ike could have easily went to nigeria but it was clear that he wants to b part of this journey" For me,he went for d country who shows more seriousness at the right time, but it was not clear he wanted to be part of any journey. First,he desired to play 4 england, then nigeria, finally canada because that's dbest option 4 him. |

There are many players out there.. you win some, you lose some.. Those you win, we will hear the story. Those we don't you don't, you also tell the story if asked. It's the same scouting process, no discrimination. Arabiandude: |

What you have said is not strange (sadly) but you were humble enough to say you could be wrong however what irritates a lot of people on this thread is when our resident southgate states with certainty and authority something happened whereas the existing evidence doesn't add up. Joebie: |

Let's stay with the argument here. No one is crying over Ike Ugbo because we are loaded with options. We are talking about the scouting process and how it is handled administratively. Napoleon55: |

sir let Komekn argue his matter. So what I have alleged here is strange as to the normal workings in Nigeria? Do you also find it strange that people have to buy slots just go get a visa interview at the US embassy? chrisooblog: |

Why NFF go dey chase average players. Many of us don’t realize that the best players in the super eagles today are our home grown talents. If you don’t have a Messi/Ronaldo potential I see no reason a player should be chased. If I may ask what have foreign born players done for us? I think Nigerians generally are just obsessed with anything foreign. |

cromz:I totally support you on this but I don't think the FB has to have potentials like Messi or Ronaldo. Someone like Eze doesn't have the Messi/Ronaldo potentials but he is quite good and the position he plays is kinda vacant in the current SE, so I think going for player like Eze isn't bad but not players like Abraham, Saka and even Lookman. If FBs like Balogun and Ekong had not played for the SE, they could have easily been replaced by now by homegrown players |
