You made it seems Yoruba loves Igbos why Igbos hate Yorubas. Whatever feelings exist btw Igbos and Yorubas, it's mutually shared!
Alexis11:

Anytime I see their political analysis, which always borne out of deep hatred for Yorubas I always burst into laughter. grin

Let him not step down, he's going nowhere. It amazes me how our politicians think in Nigeria. They're so selfish , they don't care about us. The boko haram and banditry things are politically motivated too. Commonsense should tell them that, after a Muslim has finished his tenure at the presidential level in such a religiously sensitive country like ours, the next one should be Christian. A Muslim Muslim candidate too will never work except there are no good Christian party members in their party too who are qualified. Tinubu was forced to step down in 2015 after he was hell-bent on running with Buhari. Osinbajo was considered at the 11th hour. What's Tinubu's problem exactly?

When asked why they wanted to field a Muslim-Muslim candidate in 2015, they kept saying MKO and Kingibe had done it before and they still won but they've quickly forgotten the rational behind a Muslim-Muslim candidate as of that time(we were tired of the military rule and we needed democracy so desperately) . The arrangement wouldn't have worked out on a normal day.

In the case of Osinbajo, if the party feels he's not the best Christian candidate, while not look for a qualified Christian instead of harping of replacing buhari with another Muslim? Are there no single intelligent candidate amongst the APC? Amosun, after knowing the truth and permutations in Ogun, he went and picked Akinlade out of selfishness. Our politicians would never learn

That's why your dad need to send you to good school or you need to stop these social media news for information...

For your likes and Ibos here

Ask your daddy at home about these and tell me later if BAT is politically greedy or not:

...In 2006/7 BAT obtained senatorial form to go to the senate BUT later gave the ticket/form to Ganiu solomon GOS.

....in 2014 BAT had a plan to be VP with PMB but saraki and Co in APC said Nigeria can't have a Muslim Muslim ticket
BAT had the influence to pursue his ambition but he allowed them had their way !

...BAT could have normited his wife who was a Christian but he didn't

...BAT normited Osibanjo who is from Ogun state but was one time commissioner under BAT

BAT is going to contest in 2023 and he will win
Even if it's Muslim Muslim ticket

Una go get headache tire

Pls can your daddy ogogoro drunkard allow a man from Imo becomes commissioner in Anambra??
And that's one of BAT's political mistakes. What significant roles did Osinbajo play in June 12 struggle that Kayode Fayemi, Gen Alani Akinrinade, Dele Momodu & others if I may ask?

But tell yourself the truth...

Do you have the numbers?

It’s not even guaranteed that the whole of Southwest will vote will vote Osinbajo not to talk of Tinubu.

The Southwest are are already getting disenchanted with Tinubu’s overbearing attitude.

For Osinbajo, some school of thought in Yorubaland are already asking, “why always Ogun”?

From Shonekan to Abiola to Obasanjo and now Osinbajo. Why always Ogun? That alone might cost him some votes.

Now, outside the Southwest, where else would the votes come from? Northwest?

The big question is can Southwest and Northwest votes alone guarantee the presidency for the Southwest? No. This is even using the assumption that the Northwest will vote a Yoruba man over a northerner.

Let’s imagine Tambuwal who is from Sokoto in Northwest gets the ticket, do you think Northwest votes won’t be divided? No matter the loyalty for APC.

Now, imagine Atiku gets the ticket again, that means Northeast votes gone for PDP, North Central divided 70:30 in favor of PDP while Northwest where APC vice presidential candidate might come from might divided 70:30 in favor of APC.

Then we come down south: the entire SE/SS is sure to give bloc votes to PDP plus some Southwest dissidents.

Where are the numbers?

Is competing or where the candidate from or his religion the decider for voters? why not someone effective in the role?

The North loving Bubu inspite of his gross failure is a reason why any ambitious nationality shouldn't be in the same country with people who celebrate mediocrity!

I hardly make comments about politics here, but I've been seeing a VERY wrong statements o,I'm in the north,so I'm not making comments out of ignorance, trust me when I tell you that most northerners prefer osinbajo over Atiku, the love for buhari is crazy, and they see Osinbajo as the closest person to continue the buhari agenda, and are mobilizing already for him o,but trust me the person they dislike the most is tinubu,Atiku will get their votes IF tinubu is the person to run under APC, but trust me Atiku can't beat Osinbajo especially in the northwest all thanks to his relationship with Buhari

APC made progress in SS/SE cos buhari was an incumbent and mobilized cash.
The problems in Oyo,osun and APC are still there and mind you osibanjo registered and votes in Lagos and don't forget that SW is sophisticated and shares votes, they don't give block votes
is buhari not going to be the incubent that will conduct 2023 electioncheesy

Oyo and ondo election has been resolved. Osun will also be resolved before election.

Sharing of votes was when yorubas re not the main candidate. The last time a Yoruba(obj) against buhari was a landslide.
2023 expect a bloc votes if sw emerges as apc candidate. When it comes to politics yorubas re dyanmic and flexible.

You're a learner. In your street, among the top 5 successful people, atleast 2-3 would be Igbos
Alexis11:

It's deep jealousy. If you read pre independence history of Nigeria you will understand. Igbos actually thought they would be dominating the Southern Nigeria after independence and that is why Azikiwe formed a government with Ahmadu Bello instead of Awolowo. They considered Yorubas to be minority cheesy... The way things have turned against them in favour of the Yorubas pain them so much.

it's unfortunate we can help it presently, our politics is by numbers and they have the numbers, thinking of that alone will make someone to lose hope in Nigeria ever getting better, cos it means when the best hand capable of moving the country forward is not supported by them,he or she has lost already.

You are so scared of the Southwest
And you know in your inner mind that there's nothing you can do to stop them..
The North will vote a Yoruba man because they know we are the only one holding this country together..
We are the only one that is guaranteed to be fair to every region.. something they've clearly shown not to be master of.
Unlike your childish region, killing each other like it's squid game

... and we don't care where in the Southwest, a win for one is a win for all

Yoruba will fall prey again to Hausa..
The game is to get either Tinubu or Osinbajo as flag bearer of APC...
Then PDP will fill in a Northerner...

Normally, no matter how bad a northerner is.... His people will never leave him and vote for southerner..

With that...Power remains at the North.

If we are doing power rotation we should do it to the fullest. SouthWest has rule their turn and should allow other Southern regions to do theirs. if not, let it be open for all Nigerians including Northerns.

If Osinbajo worth it's sort, why should any person or group be, begging Tinubu to step down ?

It only means that, the group realize that, Osinbajo don't have the capacity and wherewithal to defeat Tinubu politically.

Thank you for this very important observation. You even omitted Awolowo. From Awolowo to Sonekan to Abiola to Obasanjo to Osinbajo. Haba. Aiye yin ni gbogbo Yoruba wa ni? That was even what Chief SLA Akintola fought for. You removed him by Fiat only to bring Adegbenro (an Egba man from the same axis) & the man asked... why not an Ijesha or Ekiti or Ife etc person. Thank God my people are now seeing the light at last even if it is over 50 years.

They are here ranting instead of accepting the truth.

Why would everything coming to Yoruba land always go to Ogun?

Like you said SLA asked, “what of Ijesha man, or Ife or Ekiti?”

Why do you think Fayemi is not backing down on his ambition? That is part of his reason.
