Yes! You were correct, but I wasn't doubting that there was never a need for PoF. I was actually in doubt of the deadline that comes before my tuition deposit deadline. Who to me did not sit well. Note that my deposit deadline is 30th November

have you tried to apply to another university? I think they are still firm with this their deadline. Yesterday, we received msg from SSA-AM and Rocio regarding the deadline, that it will not change. If you apply to another schl, you can use your POF for it.

when you received msg that the deadline is 23rd of November, why do you still want to go ahead? Do you think they will treat you specially? It is better to apply to another school now and you use your POF for it. We received msg from SSA-AM and Rocio yesterday regarding the deadline. They still stand by it. Unless if you want the school to move you to the next intake Sept 2022.

Things are easy. Just mail them that the Abuja iom medical is not feasible for u that you want your medicaltonhe in lagos. They will ask u to get approval from lagos to do that. All u need to do is just to use that same mail trail and send to lagos that they should approve your transfer and it will be done. It will take like 2 or 3 days. Just make surely send reminder mail twice a day

God has been good! I’m on my way to work and decided to share this post to encourage someone to believe, be intentional and put in the hard work! My husband and I came in July to the uk, barely a month he got a professional job as an electrical design engineer. 3 months after I got a professional job as well as a mechanical design engineer. My company allowed me work 20 hours till after my masters then I can work full time with them. Wow can you believe it! I got a job while still at Uni. Infact 3 months at uni. It’s only God!
It wasn’t easy but God did it and He will surely do it for you!

priority is more expensive than standard and it is faster than standard. If you have the money, you can do priority or super priority which is the fastest. It all depends on your pocket.

Please i have an inquiry, I am using my biological parent’s account for my funding, can my wife also apply as a dependent? We don’t have any children and the account is well funded for my tuition and both our living expenses. I also have a consent letter from my parent expressly stating the funds are for me and my spouse, can she apply as a dependent?. Same thing I thought. I had even gone to GTB to pay the 30% deposit. I had to contact the school and they said they must receive matured POF before Nov 23rd. I had to run to GTB to refund my money. Thank God for their slow service. They haven't treated the form A yet so I cancelled it. Please apply to other schools abeg.

I got a job with a company in the uk based on my experience from Nigeria. Despite people telling me that it is difficult to get a job in my field here in the UK that I should have gone for a field in the shortage skill list. Yet I got a job few weeks towards my graduation.


Secondly all the companies that have invited me for interviews never asked me which school I attended.

Thirdly,they have only asked me for my location.

Lastly, nobody has asked about my certificate or school.

Companies will look for you...why are international students crying for cv or not doing very well interviews? Some are crying they haven't gotten an invite even when they are attending good schools and reading the top courses?

Reason why most companies will state they saw better candidates or candidates with better skills. Not based on we rejected based on your school ranking or certificate.

If you don't have what they are looking for they won't take you.

I get you now. But the gist I was hearing back in Nigeria like you won't get a good job if don't go to a top ranking school or you don't read one of all these courses listed on the shortage occupation list. "Man will suffer". Its okay I understand you now.
