I would like to think this is how communication is done by those who are not ignorant?

Like an uncivilised barbarian?

You are truly a product of Nigeria that remains unrefined, despite your best efforts, it follows you like smoke that cannot be hidden.

I restate, I never contributed to your sufferings and frustrations in life.

Like I already opined, the anonymity of the Internet provides bliss.
Pointing out EXACTLY who you are - a bumbling fart-inhaling fool - doesn't mean I'm uncivilized. Or is civility measured by how much I'm able to tolerate your despicable self?

Of course you don't contribute to my suffering. But that's not what this conversation is about. I'm just trying to let you know you're an idiot. That's substantiated by the foolish conjectures you posited as truth/fact in your earlier post.

It sure does. And I'll use it to the fullest idiot.

You have won yourself the award of "who has the most swear words".

What about politicians and other Nigerians that need special healthcare from this forbidden overseas? How do you propose they get it?

Ngige is right.... We can't be training doctors for them to go practice elsewhere

It is like employing a staff and train the staff only for the staff to go to another company.... You bond the staff that is what organisations do
I never knew medical students are trained for free in Nigeria. These doctors are selfish

Idiot.

I've told you.

We don't have to pay the same wages especially because the education is far cheaper.

If it was terrible, nobody would employ them.

Nobody says you can't go abroad after.

But since your Education was subsidised, you must serve a certain number of years before you can.

Yet you dey vex.
the reason education is far cheaper is because Nigeria economy is trash, not subsidy

But how does that solve the doctor shortage
?

All this does is make an even bigger problem worse

At this point I'm not going to reply anymore because you clearly lack the mental faculties for this topic.
This same hippopotamus of an Ngige also said Nigeria has excess doctors and they are free to leave. We are exporting doctors.

Politicians are the worst set of human beings among us. They are responsible for all the wars and problems we have gone through simply because of their dangerous speech.

I am saying in Nigeria you can be poor and still afford to go to the university and graduate debt free without any form of scholarship.

I am also saying the societies we lose these set of Nigerians to, have their own citizens continue to pay student loans from the same salary we enjoy with them, having acquired our own qualifications in Nigeria without such debts.

Those 2 statesments above are facts devoid of emotions.

Those who have so benefited from the merits of the cheap education in the Nigerian system without the demerits of poor pay, while still benefitting from the merits of good job pay abroad without the demerits of very expensive qualifying education, are the winners while the losers are those who do not navigate across the 2 existing systems at the right entry points.
Nigeria can still get them taxed no matter where they go

I am resisting the urge to insult you right now but let me just say this.

Serving your fatherland isn't slavery, pay doctors and they won't leave, it is that simple.

If all the doctors leave who do you think will suffer, us or them?

These foolish politicians run abroad whenever they get simple ear ache while poverty stricken supporters on nairaland will support them when they don't even have a primary health care center in their local government.

Stop thinking like a primary school child.

You just wrote a wall of nonsense.

Will you work for 6 months without salary?

My tuition cost millions and you want me to work for uncertain chicken change.

Who do you think will suffer if all the professionals leave because idiots want to force them to work in a broken system?
Dude I understand your point, but have you also considered that the system too is broken abroad, where high cost of education has made academic training prohibitive to their own citizens who refuse to indebt themselves, hence they depend on cheaply trained doctors from Africa who are too happy to get such pay without the baggage of student debts?

There are a few winners in this matter who take the benefit of both Nigeria (cheap education) and abroad (better pay), but there are losers both in Nigeria and abroad.

But the consumer abroad enjoys the benefit if they are ready to pay for the service.
Re: Doctors Trained For Free In Nigeria To Serve For 9 Years Before Leaving - Ngige by Tsongz(f): 11:34am On Nov 11, 2021
Could see many people in support of this nonsense. I'm sure you don't have a glimpse of what these professionals pass through. There are states in this country owing their medical practitioners over 8 months salary and yet you expect them to always smile and render their services joyously. It is their choice if they choose to travel overseas because they didnt study on scholarships.
And by the way, not all doctors finished from cheap schools. Even if they did, you can ask them the cost of 1 of their textbooks.
Y'all yelling about cost of education abroad while ignoring their minimum wage over there SMH in disgust

I am sure I suffer as much as every other Nigerian regarding the shortcomings of our successive governments.

Iike I opined, it is not just a medical sector issue. It is prevalent across all industries in Nigeria.

We continually lose our human resources that are cheaply trained, to societies who have made education very expensive but with good rewards.

Ask yourself why that Doctor or Engineer dit not struggle to be admitted to Imperial college or MIT, but was instead satisfied with the affordable education at Unilag where yearly tuition is not up to $100. Yet that same Unilag graduate wants a $100,000 salary in the US where his colleagues are still paying the student loan for the same medical or engineering degree that got them the job.

If any Nigerian considers himself deserving of the better pay abroad, he/she should also ensure that the qualifying degree was obtained at the cost required for such abroad.
Which school are you attending and what is your course of study?

You haven't said anything.

The average medical school debt in the US is 215, 000 dollars.

A Nigerian who was trained in Nigeria, giving all the "choice" hostels, giving higher stipends at youth service, would be the first to be insulting the entire system.
It is better you think or read twice before saying anything. "Given all the choice hostels"... Are you sure you ever schooled in the country? Can we have an idea of your "choice" hostels? Which system are you talking about here? The same system that ill-treat the said students with lack of basic amenities? Or which system?

Your own case is entirely different

Lol. Typical Nigerian with warped sense of reasoning and poverty induced mental slavery.
Contrary to that misinformed minister's claim. Nigeria is not the only country where education is free. Germany. Sweden. Finland to mention but a few offer free education to their citizens up to the post graduate level.

America is not the only the developed nation out there. And even then you can't compare the quality of education at an American University to the piss poor, overly cramped, one microscope to 50 students campuses we have in Nigeria.

And no, the child of a Janitor is not cursed to follow in his father's footsteps because unlike you bastards in this country who subjugate uneducated workers, Janitors in America probably earn more than your father and his neutered kin have ever made in their lives. I'm not even kidding https://www.indeed.com/career/janitor/salaries

Stop being a child of hate and mediocrity. Stop being a fool who dances to the whimsical tunes of crass politicians. Stop being a daft, easily manipulated bastard.

Nigeria lost because it didn't prioritise the health sector.

The president has spent millions of taxpayer money treating just himself in the UK.

As of right now there is an embargo on employment into the civil service and you tell people they should not go abroad.

This government is not serious please.

When you are done hyperventilating, you would realise that whoever wants cheap education and cheap service delivery, should never complain about poor renumeration.

I work in the Oil industry having previously worked in Telecoms.

I know what the likes of cheap Huawei did to the service industry in Telecoms, by providing the telecom operators cheaper services that resulted to poorer staff welfare, and for their competitors like Ericsson, Siemens, Alcatel-Lucent etc to stay afloat, they also had to overhaul their staff compensation strategies.

Same thing cheap Indians and Chinese are already doing to the Oil industry.

Lastly, are you ready to adjust to the tax rate of the Scandinavian countries you have so glowing mentioned that offer free education up to the tertiary level?

A Nigerian earning more than N1m monthly is still bypassing his electric power meter so he can get to pay N10k monthly, while his actual bill should have been N30K which is still very affordable .
What school did you attend and what was your course of study?

How many Nigerians do you know earn N1m monthly and want to bypass their electric meters?

Fun fact. Nigeria's system is not the cheapest. As a matter of fact when you consider standing economic realities, it is very expensive. What is the minimum wage in this country? What is the tuition fee for medical degree in OOU?

Just so you know medical degrees are completely free of charge to citizens of Scandinavian countries like Sweden.

Nigerian trained doctors are 'hot cake' because we thrived under very toxic, mentally debilating conditions back at home. Not because the quality of training is better. More because we can function under immense stress.
I think this should be one of the reasons, and not the major reason.

It’s simple...you get what you pay for....minimal payment means minimal everything. Big payment means big everything. Let our government increase the price of housing because our mates overseas are paying 1 million for rent per month or let us start selling hollandia for N13,000 + because that’s what your mates in Canada are paying. What I’m saying is: stop converting currency to another man’s own then you’ll see that everything is fair
