Kobojunkie:Refute with what? More fake reports posted on the internet? Are there homeless children? Yes Are they up to 10 million? I don't believe. |

Mariangeles:Refuted by the governments in question. ![]() Where it pertains social services, foreign organizations remain more informed than the Nigerian government and people on such issues. Go ask your government. ![]() |

Nigeria doesn't have a population explosion problem, it has an efficiency problem. I am not contributing to the 'populatiom explosion problem' if I am able to cater for the NEEDS of MY kids. Meaning if I can handle my business that is my kids. If I am it relying on Nigerian government to pay their school fees or an uncle to feed them or beg an aunt to find them a N50k job. Mercy can afford to do that. Many of us can't. Mercy can decide to have 20 children and each of those children can add value without taking from what is not available and underutilised resources. We need to differentiate between those two concepts. I won't advocate for people who are financially and emotionally capable of raising more than two or four children not to do it. By the way, I hope you know that the more less birthing = Less working age population = more aging population = Less resources = Less money available for Governance = an even sadder and poorer country. Sterope:How did you arrive at the conclusion in bold please? ![]() Below is a statement made by the VP at a UN food systems summit in Feb of this year.. Nigeria's Vice President Yemi Osinbajo addressed on February 23 a UN Food Systems Summit organized by the Nigerian government in Abuja, the national capital. He was blunt about the country's food insecurity problem. He noted that Nigeria's population is growing much faster than the economy, limiting its ability to build resilient, sustainable food systems. The conference considered a variety of possible approaches to increasing food production. Their relevance to Nigeria's realities remains to be seen. Are you instead of the mind that he is wrong and the world with him? ![]() |

Maybe it is because when people talk about population, they also talk about resources. For a country like Nigeria where we barely utilise anything. I am choosing resource efficiency over population explosion. Kobojunkie: |

That's the joy of motherhood if there not making you shout my sister check well something is wrong, may the good lord who gave them to us be with them always, direct them to the right paths that they will make us proud in Jesus name Amen |

Ifyjos:The more than 10 million abandoned children out there were also joys of motherhood, right? ![]() And God is also the one who gave them, right? ![]() |

Kobojunkie:That's not my business , why don't you carry them to your house |
| Re: Think Very Well Before Having Children – Mercy Johnson Advises by Kobojunkie: 8:40pm On Nov 11, 2021 |
Ifyjos:Ofcourse, it is not your business.... the part where God the very same God decreed that you welcome them into your own Home, you conveniently ignore. All you want is to be able to fulfill your selfish desires - your so-called joy of motherhood, right? ![]() |

You can pray to God to soften all parents' hearts for them to adopt all these kids . I should be punished for their sins as well since I should be responsible for their actions. I shouldn't have my own kids because some people decided not to be responsible. Kobojunkie: |

Sterope:Which kain exercise in futility be that one? ![]() God didn't say pray for such things... instead He commanded those who claim to believe in Him to welcome the homeless into their homes. ![]() You think of it as God punishing you for the sins of others, but God sees it instead as you obeying His commandments to you. So you decide... do you obey God or do you go your own way. ![]() |

Mariangeles:So? ![]() There isn't anything wrong with being part of the aggressive minority. If you weren't yourself existing in denial of the problems in the world, you would probably be standing right next to me in line.. ![]() |

Mariangeles:I could have been even part of the aggressive ones even then, yes. And I still am a part of the agreesive minority even now. ![]() |

You don't need data. You should cancel your dtaa subscription. That is some families' feeding allowance.. Kobojunkie: |
| Re: Think Very Well Before Having Children – Mercy Johnson Advises by Kobojunkie: 9:10pm On Nov 11, 2021 |
Sterope:How did you arrive at this conclusion that I don't need data subscription? ![]() |
| Re: Think Very Well Before Having Children – Mercy Johnson Advises by Sterope(f): 9:10pm On Nov 11, 2021 |
Lol. Feeding is a need not an allowance. Kobojunkie: |
| Re: Think Very Well Before Having Children – Mercy Johnson Advises by Kobojunkie: 9:11pm On Nov 11, 2021 |
Sterope:Isn't data also a need in the world we now live in? ![]() Needs are not set in stone ...they change with time and we live today in a world where data is necessary for accessing real time potential live saving information. ![]() By the way, God didn't tell you to feed a family... His instructions are quite specific... you should check it out in Isaiah 58. ![]() |

Kobojunkie:No. As we cannot all believe in the same thing, at the same time. Denial of world’s problems? ![]() In life, I believe we all have at least that one cause that we believe in, stand up and fight for. We can’t all be part of every cause in life. |

Mariangeles:1. I don't get you. Being an aggressive member of a minority group does not mean we all believe in the same things. For instance, I wholeheartedly believe in Jesus Christ, the New Covenant and I am aggressive in my belief but I also understand that not everyone believes as I do so I don't go shoving Him at everyone.. I only started discussing God here because someone attempted to introduce a lie in His name, something that is typical of the small-minded. ![]() 2. This isn't about being a part of some but not all. We are here discussing an issue which affects everyone in the world today and if care is not taken, in less than 10 years from now, life is bound to get so many times much harder to so many more people, kids included. We can no longer afford to be blind to it or pretend say no be our concern. ![]() If the rate of growth continues in Nigeria, the contribution is add another 50 million people to its count in the next 10 years, that is a 25% ballooning of the population. Can you not see how this is a problem that will impact all Nigerians, regardless of what their cause and stance is? ![]() |
