Nigeria currently has a population explosion problem with the number recorded as rising at about 5 Million each year.

The worst kind of 'role model' for our women and children at this time are women who blatantly contribute to the explosion issue simply because they can afford it.

Nigeria doesn't have a population explosion problem, it has an efficiency problem.
I am not contributing to the 'populatiom explosion problem' if I am able to cater for the NEEDS of MY kids. Meaning if I can handle my business that is my kids. If I am it relying on Nigerian government to pay their school fees or an uncle to feed them or beg an aunt to find them a N50k job. Mercy can afford to do that. Many of us can't.

Nigeria's Vice President Yemi Osinbajo addressed on February 23 a UN Food Systems Summit organized by the Nigerian government in Abuja, the national capital. He was blunt about the country's food insecurity problem. He noted that Nigeria's population is growing much faster than the economy, limiting its ability to build resilient, sustainable food systems. The conference considered a variety of possible approaches to increasing food production. Their relevance to Nigeria's realities remains to be seen.

Maybe it is because when people talk about population, they also talk about resources. For a country like Nigeria where we barely utilise anything. I am choosing resource efficiency over population explosion.

I should be punished for their sins as well since I should be responsible for their actions.
I shouldn't have my own kids because some people decided not to be responsible.

God didn't say pray for such things... instead He commanded those who claim to believe in Him to welcome the homeless into their homes.

You think of it as God punishing you for the sins of others, but God sees it instead as you obeying His commandments to you. So you decide... do you obey God or do you go your own way.

In life, I believe we all have at least that one cause that we believe in, stand up and fight for.
We can’t all be part of every cause in life.
