1 . aircraft makes are always saving up on any extra weight and probably adding many airbag to an aircraft would mean more weight.

2 : The sheer explosive force mechanism airbags depend on to work would be too dangerous having in a pressurized cabin as they might pose more problems during a crash than solution.

3. 99 percent of air crashes would come in too hard and potential of a fire happening ..I don't know what kind of gas those airbag cannisters carry and if they are fire retardant in the first place

Sosoliso was a bigger aircraft caught up in different Dynamics and despite out of 110 passengers on the flight only 2 survived the impact and one will later die sef ..stop arguing with people that know better than U man ..when the other helicopter crashed in Ikeja and I call out the cause after seeing the crash site people like you argued with me and then the report came out and I was vindicated ...When the VPs helicopter crashed I called it correctly too..I have never called an aircrash wrongly .. well let's wait for the investigation of this and you will see I am right

It could be as a result of a fuel leak. But two things are almost certain; the plane lost both its engines and there was little or no fuel left in it at impact.

And again, although all lives on board were lost, the pilot did a heck of a job to keep the plane in almost one piece. They definitely died from internal injuries as their bodies were being thrown here and there. May God not let me see a reason to fly all these little toy-like planes.

Decrease in speed is same as deceleration, rate of decrease in speed or rate of deceleration measures how rapid or gradual the decrease in speed was. That's quantifying it.


The right word for your initial post should be descending fast as it's no longer a controlled descent.

1 .The plane lost power to both engines long before the impact.

2 . The plane had empty fuel tank at the time of the crash .

3. The crash-land was a controlled glide with the propellers properly feathered for such approach.

4. I suspect this aircraft ran out of fuel because I know it doesn't have the ability to dump fuel .

Because the plane didn’t explode you considered it ran out of fuel? If it had crashed headlong, it would have exploded! Or lost both engines during take off, it would have exploded too! Your fuel theory does not hold water!!

Yes it lost both engines and it was a controlled landing by the pilots, but the terrain was terrible! If it had landed on a plain terrain, they would have survived!

Our focal point of argument has been derailed! My point is, the tank wasn’t empty when it crashed! From the scene, you could see the impact and wreckage was minimal, meaning there was a maneuver by the pilots before the crash! It could be the final impact on rocks that killed the passengers!

I am really surprised by these assertions! It could have been bad weather, wave vortex or so!
