Not denying the fact that North produces more food than the rest of the country. You should know the inflation/high cost of food is here already,with crisis up north denying farmers opportunity to cultivate. How have we been able to manage the high cost? This is a question you should ponder.
Are you aware that Nigerians in diaspora yearly contributes couple of millions dollars short of Nigeria's yearly budget,this is stats from world Bank,Google it. How many of the contributors are from the north? Let customs,firs etc declare their last quarter or end of the year earnings then you will know economy is affected

Imagine all states collecting VAT on things like airtime, food, snacks, electricity, etc etc....the companies they collect VAT from would pass on the cost to the end CONSUMER. And we all won't be able to do nowt about it.
Plus that VAT rivers and lagos are collecting..is for their states...it isn't going to most other Southern states.

It seems you are not current. Oil only contribute less than 30%to the Economy. Over 70% are from Agriculture, mining and other sectors from other parts of this Country. None of these is generated from the 4 Eastern States. Nigerian will do well even without Oil money
