My wife aged 53, died of cardiac arrest on 21st April this year. We had just finished a meal of moimoi and palp at about 12.15pm when she left me in the sitting-room and went to our garden behind our house to uproot some cassava. Fifteen minutes after she left, I had a sharp knock on my door that my wife fell down behind the house. I ran frantically to the spot and saw her lifeless body sprawled on the ground. I lifted her up and took her inside the house to seek medical attention. But reality later dawned on me that she was dead. The doctors confirmed her dead too and put her in the mortuary. Two days later a self-confessed witch told her family members that she killed her spiritually because of a family squabble she had with her. I don't believe in such witchcraft tales but I know that such superstitions prevail in our African culture. I have my doubts though, but could this be true? |

This is a vulnerable moment for you.. you're all emotional and susceptible to influence especially when it has to do with your loss. Take heart and don't let anyone add more to your sorrows. You need to look ahead. Some mentally disturbed people may have illusion and distorted reality that makes them believe they are responsible for a bad event. Don't let anyone control your emotions at this moment. This is the perfect time to sow a seed of discord in your heart. You have to guard your heart now because to be honest, people r extremely manipulative and will strike when you're most vulnerable and cannot resist their planned attacks. In cases of a heart attack, we should all learn to give CPR and how to add shock pressures to the heart of the affected person. It could have resuscitated her. She finished eating, without resting, she went to work and you feel it's not possible that part of the cause of her death? Things happen in the spiritual, but not every bad things is caused by spiritual evil. |
