Barbiturate:
I'll just like to drop this for those with tinted glass.

My back seat glass and the back glass are tinted. Police usually stop me because of it and I tell them that it's a new car and it came from abroad like that and when it came, I went to do the permit but I was told that they've stopped giving permit for tinted glass.

So I was at Agege( around the bridge) and I was stopped by a police officer with gun. I stopped and he checked my boot, licence and papers. All intact. Then he asked for the tint permit, I told him what I explained above. He insisted that they still issue it and later he said I would go to their office. I drove there with him. We got there and he called me aside and said I should settle him and go, but i refused. Told him that I would like us to go to the office cos that's the reason he brought me here.

Later the officer in the office came out and asked what happened. We explained and he went to my car and said the tint is fake. He collected all my papers, licence and keys. I stood there confused. He said I'll write statement and go to court. Then I called someone(DPO in Abj) who said I should seek to see the DPO. Anything he says, I should let him know. Got to his office and explained everything. He said I should go and call the officer. The man refused to follow me( the other officer that came out) He said he wasn't the one that arrested me on the road. So I went to the officer that arrested me on the road and told him the DPO wants to see him. He said; Ha! So you went to see the DPO, but I was looking for you to give you your papers, licence and keys. I didn't say anything.

Finally, we got to the DPO's office. He explained himself and I did same. The DPO shouted at him and told him to go give me my papers, licence and keys and let me go immediately.

My advice: Don't settle them for tinted glass if you got your car after they stopped giving permit. They know it's a crime to hold you for it. Just seek to see the DPO......but do it codedly.

The officer later asked me if I could drop him at the bus stop I picked him. I said No, and I drove off.
So our ikeja man too get choko for head, you are definitely one of the CODED HOODLUM DRIVERS.

No wonder

My other documents have been approved, do I have to go for physical verification of the vehicle before I can get this?

Also how can I get Hackney permit, Lagos road tag and the others?

Heyyyy:
Hey guys I'm here again,

So I downloaded the Uber app, filled and uploaded some documents and they were all approved except one, I guess I dont k how the exact documents to put there, "vehicle inspection report ".
Also Hackney permit, LASSRA, lagos state driver badge, where can I get all these, and what is the next step for me
You will need to do another road worthiness document and car inspection in Lagos for you to be eligible to drive in Lagos

Next time, just tell them the car colour for the sake of peace.

What if the person is short sighted and can't read your number far away?
What is your car position doesnt allow him/her to see your number?

Make we dey avoid fight as much as we can. Life na jeje.

Google uber inspection centres in Lagos to locate nearest one.

I still maintain it that you talk like a senseless small boy. You just have the opportunity to live outside naija doesn't mean you are better than them here.

And mind you, the bad feeling is because a giant step would have been achieved if not for covid that scattered plans.

This your mentality is the reason Nigeria is where it is today. The mindset of "I better pass my neighbor". That's why no matter how much inflation we have, people will be consoling themselves that they are still better than others since they can still afford to eat irrespective of the high prices.

I am not comparing bolt driving with anything. Can you also compare it with people who work in oil companies and earn in millions monthly?

Because it seems people only compare with the lowest lows just to feel good. What happened here is wrong. Accept that what the girl did was wrong. Stop forming political correctness.

I greet you all

Please need an advice for a friend.

Bought a nija used Honda civic a month ago and has not gone long distance but drives everyday like 10km. He went to Lekki yesterday from Ipaja, first he noticed that the engine is usually hot when he got to Agungi( no coolant in the radiator, just water) and also this morning, maybe because of the over 154miles travelled he noticed that the engine shorts oil.

Here is his question sirs, @Gazzus,

1. Can the hot car engine cause his engine oil to evaporate? ( uses XHP Mobil 1000)

2. Can the coolant that is not in the radiator cause the engine to be hot but not overheating.

3. What can he do differently to prevent further harm to the engine ( engine steams well and does not smoke).

Elders in the game and professionals over to you for advice

Also, the IRCC I mentioned has a thread on this forum, so I don't see anything secretive about it as long as it's viewable on this forum.

VaselineCrew:
I’m tired of my car men, vibrations everywhere, Kazeem’s that have bastardized systems, a bad manual ac compressor that is wired directly to my blower motor.

I don’t even know where to start.

Being a lazy driver is not even helping, but even on days I say I’m gonna push the limits in terms of driving hours, my car would be like “hold up bro, what do you think you are trying to do”.

For instance I can’t drive between 1pm and 4pm cause my manual compressor is doing “low pumping” according to Kazeems. So unless I consistency raise the rpms, I don’t get cool air through the vents. So imagine being stuck in lekki epe traffic at 3pm angry

I was just about to go pay 45k for another manual compressor that would again be wired to the blower motor, rendering my ac button completely and utterly useless, but something is telling me to save up for a follow come compressor new or old, that will be wired to my cars AC amplifier assembly as it should.

Then there is the vibration, oh my goodness. I’m not sure which engine/transmission mount is bad, but men the vibration rattles the whole dash, center console and steering column. As soon as I switch to reverse or drive, it will start doing “gidigbi, gidigbi, gidigbi”. Sometimes while driving I’d have to switch to neutral and then raise the rpm to 1000 to smooth it out before my riders take all the vibration in and start to orgasm.

Which do I fix first, mount or ac? Do I get new parts or used ones with no guarantee? Will all these repairs completely skin out my already anorexic wallet?

I’m so confused

Haha!! You're truly a teal Vaseline crew... I see What you did there with the "orgasm" partgrin

Well, I feel your pain bro but have you tried to confirm if the mounts are ok? Get a mechanic to confirm that first.

Then get a good re-wire to reset your electrical system begin to factory setting and make the compressor wired appropriately... That you changed from auto to manual compressor doesn't mean you're compressor should be connected to the blower module for what na?

What model year is your car self...?

Automatic compressor no be here guy... You'll regret having it on your car if you don't have enough money because you can't repair any component of an auto compressor. It doesn't accept just any type of gas, if the pressure it's being filled is too high it will go bad, if you use the wrong gas forget it, if the clutch, pully, or any other component goes bad it done for it. Unlike the manual type that can be repaired, rugged and can accept abuse. So for your own good don't even think of it. New one for auto compressor is above 120k. I have never heard people buying tokunbo because once e spoil which is 99% likely your money don go be that.

First, get a competent electrician to look into the car before making any decision.

Good luck!

Depending on ur car type. Follow come compressor is affordable. I just some compressors for my clients and the price range was from 50k to I think 60k naira. The Lexus rx350 compressor was the most expensive. Rx350 are not cheap cars ...

I will be loading another container late Dec to early January 2022.. Hit me up and I can look for a good compressor for u.

A tok solenoid compressor??!! Oma ga ooh... I bet my balls this compressor will park up in 2weeks after installation.

Even brand new once are parking up during installation let alone a tok2.

Any ways, I wish him well.

Buy and drive honda city 07 @give away price. Very fuel efficient. You only need to paint the front bumper scratched by okada. You can recoup your investment on this car in two months.... Halla at me if it soothes your desire.
