I am a graduate of chemical engineering. I have some years experience as a chemical engineer in ethanol refining process and as well the beverage industry. So,I was sacked by the ethanol refinery due to something I know nothing about and I am presently working as a petrol station manager which I worked 2-days on and 2days off shift and earning a salary of 90k. Now ,the ethanol refinery just called me that they still need my service and the work routine is 2days morning,2days night and 2days off... I am to make the decision between now and monday....
That's why I need urgent advice from wiser and more enlightened people on this platform....
Please,I need a fast response because i don't want to make a decision that I will later regret

Why don't you go back to the former or better still figure out a way to keep both. That's if possible.

I have been in the same shoe like you before as a chemical engineer and I regret not advancing further in my field.

They're calling you because they need you. When they're done with you again, they're going to dump you into the bin they threw you into earlier.

Since they need your services that badly, offer to work/help them out as a CONSULTANT and work with them during your off days. That way, you'd get paid for your effort and still keep your filling station job.

Stay with that your filling station manager job,don't trust a company that can lay you off and suddenly wants you back....if you're smart enough you can actually own your own petrol station too with gathered experiences

How much was the company paying you? Find out why exactly they want you back.
It's possible that your absence created a vacuum of expertise and they want you to come back and train up somebody before they can finally boot you out.
If they are calling you back because they have realized you were innocent, I will suggest you go back. Else, please stay put at your filling station and keep on looking out for better opportunities

Brutal but honest analysis

I wouldn't go back to a company that sacked me for what I know nothing about. Have they cleared you of whatever made them sack you? Make sure there's official written apology from the company Incase you decide to go back but not advisable.
I see them sacking you again in future.
