And I am very very angry. Gas I used to buy 2800, then 3k, 4k, and 5k. Suddenly it jumped to 7500 and now (today) 9250 in Port Harcourt. I am very very angry. Let no one here disturb me with nonsense news about Buhari and his nonsense South Africa Trade fair and nonsense. No cross me today o. I fit beat person

The gas finished yesterday. I told my wife that yesterday that I will buy the gas today because I needed to get to work and somehow raise money to augment what I have to be able to buy the gas. I told her to use the kerosene stove that yesterday and this morning. Guess her reply? She said she can't use kerosene even for a day. That even her Mum in the village does not use kerosene stove. She said a few other unprintable things.
For the sake of my 3 children I still had to buy the gas today.

I had not eaten in my house for a month now. The reason is that she said that they money I gave her for upkeep in October was not enough (I give her 62.5% of my monthly salary every month for our home upkeep). As a result she refused to give me food from around the middle of the month when she said the money had finished. She cooked for herself and the children (possibly from her own salary). When I gave her upkeep money for this month I told her not bother keeping food for me so that the money will go far enough. That's where we are till now. I have no intention of ever eating her food until she acknowledges that she was wrong and apologizes.

Now I know this WON'T happen. She will rather die than admit she's wrong or apologize. This is why I know that the mistake of a marriage is heading for the rocks and I am ready for it. Nonsense and ingredients. I have endured this nonsense for 15 years. I am done. Anything whe won happen tomorrow, make e happen today.

Please I beg of you. Two wrongs don't make a right. From your account she is obviously wrong but don't let people on the internet make you feel justified to scatter things because of that. It's a very difficult time for people in nigeria right now financially and from what you have written you are trying your best. Have you tried talking to her when things are not heated? She should be able to feel your pain and appreciate your effort. More importantly, what does she do for a living? If she's working she needs to contribute to the running of the household. Just take time to breathe and calm down then you can revisit things.

APC thanks for taking us to the next level of hardship. Buhari is busy attending climate change summit when Nigerians are turning to firewood and sawdust as a means of survival

But Buhari’s clan he represents in Nigeria’s politics may not break away from wood and charcoal for cooking even in the next 300 years, at the rate the area is going.

One Nigeria is a huge setback for the southern regions.

Perhaps unknown to this man who wants to get done with his 15 years marriage, Buhari’s inept government created the background for his wife’s negative attitude to him. Women are the first victims during conditions of economic hardship.

You are talking about the USA inflation, no be so. As mumu Buhari is destroying our economy here same way Biden is destroying America economy. These are self inflicted. Check other countries if it is same inflation.

Are you related to Lai Mohammed? I'm presently in Abidjan, and we recharge 6kg for 2200cfa, which is equivalent to 2000naira, and it has been like this for about 3yrs now.
Op, how did you manage to live with a wicked wife for 15yrs, you ask your wife, not to put food for you and she is comfortable with that, you asked her to use kerosene for a day and she said no

Why are those guys defending Buhari, Nigeria have been experiencing this inflation since buhari came on board. Was it covid-19 from the beginning. You can't defend Buhari, it is a code except you want to be seen as a fool, uneducated and a zombie.

Is this the beauty of marriage Nairalanders always talk about? Lol.

Buhari has broken another home. I don’t know who to blame, but I believe gunning straight at the president is the wrong decision. I know the APC government has severely hindered oil production hence leaving me technically unemployed. Still I persevere.

I can only advice you to switch to firewood till further notice. Your wife will disagree because I hear it’s inconvenient compared to other options. It is soft on pockets and quicker, that I know very well.
