Hey guys, hope all is going well, let me give you some update on today's work

I entered Lagos today straight from Benin, just b4 ijebu ode my tire burst, I have to switch to spare. Got to Lagos mainland, I was supposed to see someone around lekki, I got lost and found myself under Surulere bridge.

Long story short, I got many requests but only accepted 3, of all a lady stood out, she was so nice and friendly all through the trip, she's even the one helping me with directions because I openly told her I'm not used to Lagos road and today is my first day on the job, some person's can be super nice.

Below is my activities for today, how is it, what areas I have to improve on?

Did u go for car inspection before hitting the road?

Does it mean car inspection will pop up after some pick up?

Bolt: no car inspection, hit the road after approval

Uber: Tomorrow I will go for the inspection

We are used to people being so rude in this country that being nice is now considered strange.

The other day when I told someone this thing was meaningless, he was arguing. Look at my passenger did not show. Even my "you did not confirm" has gotten above 30% numerous times and I've not gotten blocked.

Bolt has another tracker they use that tracks the amount of trips you've cancelled as a percentage of the total number of requests you've gotten since you started driving with them. That is what they use to block people.

Infact, I have now realised that, the activity score itself is a much better tool to monitor cancellation and to prevent bolts hammer.

I have found 86% activity score to be perfectly fine for now so I try not to go below it. The actual threshold could be much lower.

If you're still using this nonsense in the attached to track your performance, it's a waste of time.

Aghaaa...u of all people shouldn't be saying this. I can't count the number of people Bolt has blocked for "you did not respond is too high" or "your cancellation was above threshold"
In that blocking message, Bolt will say the threshold is 20% but you have 25% (figures are just an example)

If u pay close attention u will see that your activity score is inversely proportional with the first two parameters. The higher they both are cumulative, the lower your activity score.

If at all there is another tracker unknown to us, it cannot function independently of Activity Score and this 4parameters. If u don't pick trips or u cancel before 3/5mins it affects ur Activity Score and one of the First 2 parameters. Nobody has been blocked with a healthy Activity score and those 4 parameters balanced except it's for low rating or other fraudulent activity. So how did u come about this other unknown trip cancellation counter?

To complete this your experiment, do us a favour, allow your you cancelled or u did not confirm to climb to about 40% and let's see if your activity score also will not drop. I can bet you, u will be blocked even before u reach 40%. I can only ask this of u cos u said u r hanging boot this December wink so u can volunteer to be our laboratory specimen grin grin

Welcome to Lag...congrats on your first few trips. Make sure you go for Bolt inspection within 7days. If not you will be blocked.

For now I will advise u to stay within the main trunk of Lagos. Look at the map of Lagos and remain within Lekki, Vi, Ikoyi, Yaba/Surulere, Maryland, Gbagada, Ogudu, Ketu, Oshodi, Airport, Ikeja, Ogba, Magodo, Berger.

Avoid after Sangotedo, Apapa, Mile 2, Festac, Agopalace, Jakande Estate, Alimosho, Ikorodu, Badagry for now.

thank you Boss. Please I notice most Camry comes with V6 engine unlike the Corrola that comes with V4 engine because I need Camry that consume lesser fuel with a budget not more than 2.2m.....

That 2.2 will get you a Mercedes Benz C180. C200 or C230 1.8L, the fuel economy is superb even better than the Corolla... Yes you heard me right. Talk of prestige, talk of confidence, performance, elegance, speed, weight, power, talk of rugedity, durability... You have peace of mind parking it any where without being vandalize, security is top notch. What else would you need in a car? Is it sound? Room space? Interior beauty? What else...

I bought fuel 2k at MRS filling station Ojota, drove down to pick up a client Obalende then took the parents and daughter to convenant university in Ota, the Sun was so hot that very day so I'd to turn on AC then slept while they spent about 2hrs settling the girl. Still got back to Obalende yet my 2k fuel had not entered reverse. All along AC was running.

Parts are not expensive like many Nigerians think, ground clearance is great even with the bad roads ive been to I'd not had any serious challenge.

What else? Make una try dey think outside the box oh.
