Congratulations to you bro, please how did you go about the skilled immigration an the pre approval? Please help a brother, l really have spent so much on agents and nothing happened until now. Please your response will go a long way to save life.

Information regarding the skilled immigration act is available here (https://www.make-it-in-germany.com/en/visa-residence/skilled-immigration-act) but basically your employer in Germany needs to help you process the pre-approval documents from the immigration authorities.

Hello please what requirements and documents did you need to submit during your appointment considering your wife is a citizen

nuel80:
After the much awaiting time, I am finally here with a testimony, I got my visa, the journey was not an easy one, I noticed German embassy don’t keep to their own side of the requirements sometimes, I was made to pay for visa fee and of course verification fee which I guess was compulsory in most cases, but they have an A1 language certificate exception if your spouse is a German, but even after submitting the first one that got expired, I was forced to get a new one, some persons were lucky to take the test ones and pass it, in my case, I had my first attempt in South Africa, second attempt in Lagos, then the lockdown hit in and institutions in Nigeria was closed, I was given a deadline to submit a new one, that made me travel to Istanbul, Turkey to take another test, this time, I gave it my all by forsaking my business in Nigeria. Sent them the result but I guess they doubted it, because they asked I send them an entry and exit stamps to Turkey, I did all that, before they asked for my passport and insurance. Submitted that on Monday the 3rd of May, with a note that I would like to pick up my passport since I have a return flight to Istanbul, these people ignored that request and sent my documents to Edo state, I had a supposed flight to catch on Friday the 14th but I missed it because I was looking for my passport, finally got a call in the evening for passport delivery, paid quite a large sum for it to be sent via flight to Lagos for me, but it did not make it to Lagos until the 15th of May.
But in all these, I give God thanks for his grace to believe he had the best plans for me.
I wish everyone here success in your application. smiley smiley

No worries
Yes you need a job offer in Germany before getting the pre-approval.
You can also apply for a Job seeker VISA even if you don't have a job yet, if granted you can travel to Germany and you have six months to look for a job (https://www.germany-visa.org/job-seeker-visa/)

You can check the Anabin database here (https://anabin.kmk.org/anabin.html) to check if your institution and course of study is listed. If not, the process is a bit more complicated. Please read more here: https://www.auswaertiges-amt.de/en/skilled-worker-immigration/2304796

You can actually get a lot of answers to all the questions you might have by browsing the internet

Pls, Did anybody go to interview with statement of result? Can it be accepted? I am tired of applying for this certificate. If they don't accept the statement, can I use my original O level? I finished OND 2012 and HND 2016. I have statement of result for both.
Its for family reunion. Spouse is citizen.
Help please.

Hi All. Please l need your advice.

l have a PhD in Chemical Engineering with more than 5 years working experience. I'm intending to apply for the Job Seeker Visa but my problem is that l do not have any German language proficiency certificate (though l am learning basic german words and vocabularies from language apps like Duolingo). I am actually intending to apply for English-speaking jobs in Chemical Engineering or related fields when l get there (of course l saw many English-speaking Chemical Engineering jobs on some German job sites). My question now is do l stand a good chance of getting the visa without presenting any German language proficiency certificate in the embassy

I hope you can follow due process as posted on this group. Do your part of securing a job first as I noticed a thread you created about an agent helping you to secure work in Germany which I doubt is real. Be guarded and guided, do google search on work available in Germany or states in Germany. If you have the professional experience and you are sure of your capabilities, with God on your side, you will achieve your goals. Do not go and waste your 2.7 million naira.

Anybody with knowledge on how I can apply for German tourist visa.
You can apply for it, but my advice is to use other Schengen countries, German has very strict rules for tourist visa these period. Especially now that they have started lockdown in most areas.
