Counsel to LASG on the Panel, Mr Abiodun Owonikoko SAN, says the white paper is supposed to be the official communication to the public, Owonikoko SAN says the document being sent around is unsigned but contains all names of members.

Owonikoko SAN accused a “gentlemen” who he called ‘a very respected member’ for the entire duration stopped attending proceedings pertaining to the Lekki incident, He says the gentleman is Ebun Adegboruwa SAN, he says he clearly has his own agenda to pursue.

Owonikoko SAN gives examples of cases where members of a Tribunal did not participate in the process of the Tribunal and still say to give judgement on the same subject matter which they did not participate in, which invalidated the whole process in court.

Owonikoko SAN says the most important part of the panel sitting is the Forensic Report, he says the panel engaged the forensic experts themselves & adjourned several times for all members to attend, DIG Lakanu (Police rep) attended while Adegboruwa was absent for the major parts.

This lawyer is obviously not speaking for the LASG as the whitepaper panel has not submitted their report.

However, the unsigned report out there is disappointing for failing to factually link
at least one perpetrator to the crimes committed. The panel seems to focus on oral third-party witnesses instead of factual evidence
that could be used in prosecuting offenders in a real court.
I am surprised by this approach because the members are mostly legal experts
who understands the principle of burden of evidence and reasonable doubt.

Overstating a suspect's crime without complementary evidence makes defense lawyers' jobs easier.

How can Nathaniel Solomon who is alive and well be declared dead by a Panel

What evidence was used to determine and Convince the Panel that included a Judge and a SAN Lawyer that he had Certainly died at Lekki even though Nathaniel Solomon presented a Petition in front of that very same panel and he was awarded damages

This issue alone is deeply troubling

Was the same Criteria used to determine all the other deaths?

This Case will go all the way to the Supreme Court

1. How do lawyers prove murder in criminal cases?
2. Where are the dead bodies?
3. Where are their families?
4. What is the cause of their death?
5. Where are their photographs?
6. Why did any member of their families not come forward to make claims for a whole year?
7. Where are the eye witnesses who claimed they saw dead bodies?
8. How many dead bodies did they claim they saw?
9. Why did they not take photographs of the dead bodies?
10. Did the panel answer all or some of these questions?

This panel members have a case to answer. If it turned out that they lied on oath, then they must be prosecuted. Every line in that report must be scrutinised.
