This NIGGA! That's NOT a game I'm playing with you or anyone else today. Tell me where you think these particular dysfunctions come from? The pattern is clears as day.

Brazil's homicide rate is 30–35 homicides per 100,000 inhabitants

Look at the lead nations and their HISTORY with human trading and enslavement. Though there are factors like the drug war and/or politics in some nations it ISN'T a coincidence all but 3 had long running slave holding plantations incl even S.A. til the mid 80s where it was disguised as agricultural farm labour.

Top 10 Countries with the Highest Murder Rates (per 100k people) in 2017:*
El Salvador (61.7)
Honduras (41.0)
Venezuela (49.9)
United States Virgin Islands (49.3 [2012 data])
Jamaica (56.4)
Lesotho (43.6 [[2016 data]] per 100k people)
Belize (37.cool
Saint Vincent And The Grenadines (36.5 [2016 data])
Saint Kitts And Nevis (36.1 [2012 data])
South Africa (35.7)

There's no escaping karmic retribution. The few former slave holding nations not on this list have OTHER very particular dysfunctions carried over from the trade.

The recent attack on Damboa by ISWAP was clearly a probing attack. They did something similar in Askira Uba before launching the one that purportedly overran a military base and led to the death of 4 others in a relief ambush. The military should be ready for a full-scale attack soon.
truly they have plan to overun damboa but remember askira uba was never overun. damboa under general bayo will never be overun . they will die before reaching that formation. Bayo don fall many iswap commander and fighter:remember june 2021

An academic research from a lecturer in Usman Dan Fodio University on the whole banditry problem, how it started and how it is being sustained. This is just excerpts by daily news, I will be glad if anyone can share link to the full publication.

The name of the publication is : I am a Bandit: A Decade of Research in Zamfara Bandit’s Den

Found a video on YouTube but the audio quality is very poor.

Again, thanks for this! The Northerners long ago franchised BH for economic criminal reasons. Lurker4long showed how the Moz terror was birthed by drugs and gemstone smuggling. UNIVERSALLY there is a financial/ criminal aspect in wars; natural resources like oil, etc, etc.
Who's ever heard of ex USMC Maj Gen Smedley Butler and his book, "War is a Racket?"

I
spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism. I helped make Mexico and especially Tampico safe for American oil interests in 1914. I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for the American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went on its way unmolested. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents.

[urlhttps://www.goodreads.com/author/quotes/115545.Smedley_D_Butler
Ofc there are Oyinbo proxies pulling strings BUT Maj Gen Butler's basic premise of war itself being a snatch and grab operation by Elites hasn't changed.
Post script: the Banksters ACTUALLY wanted Gen Butler to lead a coup against Roosevelt!

Was checking the map recently and looking at the possibility of creating a temporary airstrip in Northern Borno for quick insertion of troops and weapons of a mechanized strike force that will have an unpredictable pattern of attacking various terrorist camps in that axis. The airstrip does not have to be too fancy, just something that can support the landing and take off of C-130s and some other medium lift aircrafts, the terrain will make the construction of such a strip very cheap but then, considering that maiduguri is just about 200km away from any location within Nigeria's borders in that axis, doing that may be a bit redundant.

The distance between let's say Biu and Doro Gowon/Mallam fatori is more than 2/3 the distance between Lagos and Abuja as the crow flies.

A cheaper alternative may be to just have between 8-10 battalions of such mechanized strike force located in various parts of the theater amply supported with aircrafts for CAS and logistics.

Contemplating this because of the knowledge that some Nigerian soldiers are receiving special warfare trainings in a few countries and knowing that it will be quite sad to see them being used as we did the AFSF and others.

You are talking like our deranged and murderous adversaries, are fighting conventional warfare.

How many foot soldiers do Boko , ISWAP and (Bandit terrorists) have that's the first question.

My projections in total not more than 20 000.

The enemy is fluid, highly Mobil and not necessarily stationed in permanent structures. He has taken up permanent abode in different clearly identifiable areas .

We need to be highly expedient, quick to respond, more elusive and fluid than the enemy. That means search and destroy units that go right into supposed enemy territory to seek an and destroy. Those units have to be properly equipped.

Currently we largely set up huge forward bases and stay within the base in a false sense of control and be security. A few km from the base and we are not in control and in some cases terrified to leave the security of the base.

For this to succeed you need an up to date and far better communication infrastructure.

I cannot over emphasis the efficacy of UAV's, like the Wing Ling 2. It means if we have a good number at least 60 . You can then have complete over watch of areas of contention 24/7/365. And also thats an IMMEDIATELY available resource for units on search and destroy missions, far away from forward bases.

This report states how the General died, Apparently he didn't die from ISWAP fire.

It added that a “battle could have been lost if a commander is killed.”

The signal read in full, “At about 130915A Nov 21, following attack on troops of115 Task Force Battalion Askira Uba by ISWAP terrorists, troops of 25 Brigade led by Brigade Commander, Brig Gen MF Babayo (N/10211) in conjunction with troops of 28TF Brigade carried out reinforcement to Askira. While on pursuit of the terrorist, troops made contact with the terrorist at Leho Village (N10°42'10.22" E12°50'47.76"wink in Askira LGA.

[b]“During the contact, own MRAP conveying the Brigade Commander deliberately rammed ISWAPs MRAP which led to destruction of ISWAPs MRAP while own MRAP engulfed in fire.
However, the Brigade Commander and the MRAP crew were able to get out of the MRAP but the commander had serious chest injury due to the head on collision. Casualties on troops are one soldier and one CJTF WIA while equipment casualties are one x Phantom MRAP, 3 x AA Guns (2 DAMAGED), one x AK47 rifle, 2 x AK 47 Magazine and 60 x 7.62mm (SPECIAL) rounds. Enemy casualties are over 50 terrorists elements (including their commander) were killed. Enemies one x MRAP and 5 x GTs destroyed while tps recovered 3 x GTs, 2 x AA guns, 5 x AK47 rifles, one x HK MG and one x HK MG links were recovered.

“At about 131745A Nov 21, the WIA were evacuated to 7 DMSH for further medical Management. Reinforcement team returned to HQ 25TF Bde Damboa at about 2000hours same day. Please find pictures attached. One of the major elements in battle is the Commander. Commanders of 25TF and 28TF Brigades put up amazing direction of command leading troops into battle.

“Unfortunately, the 25TF Brigade Commander lost his life in the process. It is quite heroic but not to good that commanders are found in the fore front to lead battles. If the command should fall, then troops have not direction or fighting spirit. It is one of the rules of warfare that the battle could have been lost if a commander is killed; hence soldiers could retreat.

“It should be note that ISWAP intends to follow this suit by targeting commanders. Commanders are now eager to motivate and inspire soldiers where moral is low. It is only significant that troops be always encouraged to show professionalism in the face of existing threats to fight without recourse the enemy of the State. Such motivational aspects of military trade craft should be encouraged as well as discipline while the Commanders highly directs and request appropriate from ASA need items and CAS to support the battle. Kindly forwarded for your information.

One of the MRAP can be seen in the background of this image

My own opinion, he did this because the reinforcement had no equipment to destroy the MRAP either a tank or an IFV....this is the reason why we should make use of RCWS, if only we had 24mm or 30 mm Cannon mounted on IFV or that tracked APC we bought recently that could be a force multiplier

But what do I know smiley smiley

you like writing rubbish . Just take 2 weeks trip to brono and see thing yourself and stop being a narialand anyalist .from damboa to akism uba you only have singe entry and exist . If you know how protected an mrap or suv of a senior commander is . You will stop writting this rubbish. Things that playout in the battlefied is more of what you think at home .you saying a reinforcement convoy can't run out of ammo show how weak you paragraphs quote is , you forgot that a reinforcement unit or base have a base to be defended by other troop incase of an attack and will not move will all ammo . All mrap in brono have HMG. Go to brono an be a battlefield anyalist and not a nairaland anyalist

I strongly disagree with this please, how can you go for reinforcement and not go with adequate ammunitions?? Does that make sense??

Wait are you going to show your face or help increase the fire power of your already trapped comrades??

Just imagine a soldier is called for reinforcement and he runs into an MRAP with only 2 rounds for short gun, when he is asked he he will say that there's not enough ammo in his unit??

Why not go with enough ammo for the reinforcement and the base can be reinforced with ammo while u are reinforcing the trapped Comrades

I don’t think only Ammo was the issue with Baga. Another major issue was lack of clearance operation in Kukawa main town and Guzamala. It was evident that Baga would fall. ISWAP pushed out almost all FOBs on Monguno-Kukawa axis in October. What was the military expecting will happen to Baga that sits on the edge of Kukawa LGA?

ISWAP got lots of ammunition in that attack even Naval boats.

ISWAP swept Kukawa and the link road from Baga to Monguno had heavy presence of ISWAP on it. Humanitarian Security blacklisted Baga that all humanitarian should pull out immediately more than a month to the attack as all intel proved ISWAP next point is to sweep Baga clean after Kukawa main town.

We should always be the hunters and not the hunted.

A new militant group in the Niger Delta region code-named Bayan-Men has blown up an oil facility operated by the Nigerian Agip Oil Company, (NAOC) in Ogba-Egbema-Andoni Local Government Area, Rivers State.

The angry militants, who destroyed oil well, OB5, (Obiavu-5) in the area, accused the oil firm of failing to deal directly with the host communities insisting that they were fighting for justice for their people.

The Commander of the Bayan-Men said the company refused to allow the people to benefit from their operations in the area, adding that the firm was neck-deep in divide and rule.

He said: “The only thing we want Agip to do is to deal directly with the 27 communities of Omoku, according to the Federal Government resolution.

“We don’t want Agip to be negotiating with anybody. They should deal with the communities. If they continue like this, what we have done now is small to what we will do if they continue. They should keep us together and treat us as one. They should treat communities individually.

“We are not joking. We are not interested in killing anybody. Our interest is that they must do the right thing else we will keep blowing up their facilities. We are giving them 24 hours to start the process of doing the right thing.”

Confirming the development, the Coordinator-General, Omoku Community Youth Leaders Forum (OCYLF), Ekeuku Pureheart, said that the development came from Agip’s failures to obey the demands of the people.

Pureheart said Agip should recognise the various communities that make up Omoku, as “the boys” were threatening to carry out more attacks.

Pureheart said: “Federal Government intervened a long time ago. Now some uncontrollable boys and some militia group have blown up Agip oil well, OB5. Obiavu-5 is the name of the oil well.
