Black africa isn't operating under a curse... the mining is not free... there's a permitting process and revenues accruing accrues to the fed government. It's also a good way to make friends with a super power.

Africa isn't cursed there's politics behind these things e.g. even if Nigeria mined and processed buyers could set a high import tarriff..... the Chinese partnership is a good one.

You need to understand colonization set Africa back. Trying to do it all ourselves will be too slow. Chinese partnership makes it fast. But I agree with u that they may not be disclosing the full value of the gold but Nigerians aren't much better when it comes to honesty either
