I don't see it that way. A good team is a good team and can win anywhere regardless. Takr Spain to Qatar and pair them against any North African team and see how advantageous it will be for the Africans.

Besides, taking the qualifiers to Qatar, if true should work in the favor of an African team. Atleast, they will be much adapted to playing in Qatar than the rest of the world.

Patrice Motsope is in charge now...

E sure me say money is involved... Since Issa Hayatou left, most decision made in CAF have gone against west Africa interest.... And the WAFU members there are just watching

Pls I want you to talk on how we conceded the late equalizing goal against Italy in US 94....do we say Oliseh was rugged enough cos a real physical player would have intercepted that ball with ease but Oliseh failed.

That was not a duel.... Oliseh was only casual in trying to move the ball. The ball got intercepted and straight to Baggio who slotted home. That had nothing to do with physicality.

ARSENAL FC-KEOGH KICK HAS ADVICED THE GUNNERS TO FOCUS ON ARETA £150MILLION PROJECT AND THEIR PERFORMANCE AGAINST NEWCASTLE IN THE NEXT GAME
The Gunners should focus on the £150million project Areta is building and let the loss at Anfield blow over.
Arsenal fans are saddened by the 4-0 loss to Liverpool. The game had started well but never ended well. Despite their loss, Arsenal has taken steps towards bringing back European football to their Emirates this season.
Keogh kick adviced Arsenal's " let's see how we boil over with this, let's see how we react because if we can come back and win Newcastle, then once again we are back on the right road."
"We need not over react in the game against Liverpool, it was expected. I know the four-nil isn't what we hoped for but at Anfield, we never performed well so let's just forget about it and focus on a good performance against Newcastle.
Keogh also commented on why Arsenal fans has suddenly turned their backs on Areta because of the loss against Liverpool. He stated that before now, he was said to be creating new culture and squad togetherness in the club. Why has people thrown that in the bin, where has all that suddenly gone to.
He maintained that Arsenal is one of the best teams in the league and the best in Europe and that the 4-0 loss to Liverpool shouldn't change that. He also added that Areta should be given till the end of next season before his sack called up by fan base is considered. [url]https://infohub101.com/2021/11/24/arsenal-fc-areta-150million-project/

The 3rd round playoff for CAF will now be a one legged affair in Qatar
Even FIFA that organizes intercontinental playoffs do it home and away. Let alone CAF

Money has changed hands, definitely...

What I'm concerned about is whether this kind of decisions are made through voting by the concerned parties, or the top guys in CAF just come with the..

I believe Villas Boas would have done well for Chelsea but it was difficult to coach his friends. The likes of Lampard and Drogba. These were guys he used to hangout with when he was working with Mourinho.

So it was tough to get them to listen to him.

I disagree, that's totally unacceptable. So because he hangout with the likes of FK and DD is the reason why he failed at CFC? Does this really make sense to you?

As long as the players were not playing for Villas Boas, there is no magic to perform. It was common knowledge the players were making sloppy errors to lose.
