He could make a quick recovery and return earlier than the estimated date... It happens often in football..

But why do I have this funny feeling that Napoli might inflate the return date just to keep him away from the AFCON??

And as a matter of fact, he should start using protective head gear

Also, I would prefer if Osimhen stayed with his club and helps them win the Scudetto than if he comes with us to AFCON, because there is no way we remotely deserve to win that AFCON. It is better we get beat in AFCON and learn from it than we masquerade with Osimhen carrying the team on his shoulders and end up getting bronze or something again, then we look like a decent team when in reality we are not.

Yeah Nigerian football has that disease.
Once we discover a good player, we stop building a good team
or even care about other players.
it will be pass to Victor Osimhen and Insha allah
It was once pass to Kanu and Insha allah
I want our talent pool to develop to a point
where we have 3 players or more for each position and we can play as a team.

Countries like france, spain etc have many good players and so they just dont
depend on one player for everything.
We need to get to that stage

OSImen should be coming down please we can't afford to be losing our Hitman like this
undecided
So if it were to be the actual world Cup this is how we would still lose him make him they take am easy abeg

It shouldn't take more than six weeks for the cheekbone to heal.

They did not disclose the type of repair surgery carried out on him.
The repair that i am even suspecting since the procedure was carried out in a country like Italy shouldn't take more than three weeks to heal.

It is good news for me. We are not ready for this next AFCON. We need to use this AFCON to develop a team that will go far in the World Cup. To me, the AFCON is but a training ground to really hone the arsenal we have for the bigger stage.

AFCON a training ground to you.

I like the fact that Osimhen is missing AFCON. Guy has been carrying our team for so long. Now that he's out, we will be exposed badly if Rohr is still the coach by then. There will be no way Rohr will carry us to the World Cup.

Any new coach must learn how to develop the attacking talents we have asides Osimhen. Osimhen will not always be there, and he doesn't need to considering our bench.

Osimhen is doing his job as a good striker and he is not carrying our team

Rohr is clueless that’s why you are saying this

The super eagles we are watching ,nobody Dey carry that team ,Na Insha Allah vibes

They're definitely doing it. I don't see how they will want to lose him for close to 16 matches. that 90 day story if true, is a fraud.

16 matches kwa!

Is the Serie A not going on break around December?

not sure they’ll risk FIFA’s wrath for that, you know the NFF can send Drs to go and confirm if true

That will be on the insistence of the NFF... And that could lead to a club vs country row.... it won't be good for Osimhen..
But like some guys opined, his injury might just be good for us,cus it will give us time to try out new strikers....

The problem is who is going to be in charge... is it Rohr or another low budget is Oyinbo wey wan catch cruise?

At least they should have run of games ,not that after awoniyi or Dennis play 2 game’s and he didn’t score people like you and others will begin to slander him ,when we all know how long it took osimhen to get his first goal or even ighalo

"There is no way we remotely deserve to win the AFCON"
I ponder what made you say those, especially using the word remotely.
Nevertheless you are entitled to your views.

"It is better we get beaten in AFCON and learn from it".
You prefer to be beaten before learning. We are always looking for something new to learn from defeat and we keep learning and learning.
Defeat doesn't teach anybody anything.

"We masquerade with Osimhen carrying the team on his shoulders"
Osimhen is not the one carrying the team on his shoulders.
We will admit that there are matches he did exceptionally well, but to say that he is the one carrying the team on his shoulders is wrong.

Chairman!!! Good to see you back. What's your opinion on the current hullabaloo, shenanigans and brouhaha going on with Rohr's continued stay as coach. Please look into your plastic ball and tell us the "next" anointed one.
Lol.. Let's hope the Rohr debacle is sorted out this week. On the next coach, you never can tell with this NFF, we can only hope they get a coach with a clear style because as it seems, we have been lacking that for a while.

Barcelona might not be as successful as Real Madrid but they have done fantastically well.

Note that I am not saying copy Barcelona because they are successful but because I believe the style will suit us. So are you saying we should follow Real Madrid because their style will suit us?

Now you, break down the style of Real Madrid that you want us to follow.
Nigerians cannot play tiki taka. In fact no African team can play tiki taka. It's too scripted, too methodical for us. We need to breathe ooo
