It seems to me my wife loves the second child more than the others, I'm not sure why

Much more than me, it seems my wife has a talent for beating the children. She can mend any of them very well but with this one, she would just laugh sheepishly 'I ll beat you o' without ever actually beating her

If you had paid attention to the story, you would have noted the Son who was refused to answer in the beginning happens to be the one who was hailed for going back to do then do what was asked. That story does not fit this context in anyway or form

It's normal as humans to have preferences but it takes wisdom to manage children.
Point this out to your wife and let her manage her relationships with the other kids properly.

Yeah. But they need to be discreet and not show it. It does more harm than good to a child feeling that mummy or daddy doesn't love me as much as they do my sister/brother.

She hasn't really gotten a good reason to beat that child yet

it's not actually possible to love all your children equally.


you can however be fair in the way u deal with them.
