Just to create a free Friday for Muslims.
Re: Kaduna State To Transition To 4-Day Work Week by aribisala0(m): 5:36pm On Nov 29, 2021
There is nothing like work free day in Islam

This is innovation and foolish rivalry.
The international banking order is based on Monday to Friday it has religious origins but people have moved on

The days of the week

Monday , Tues days etc are named after "pagan" deities or worship.
So what.

Are we going to have work free day for Egbesu, Amadioha , Ogun, Sango etc

If we cannot make compromises then we better split.
The international banking order and stock markets operate Mon-Friday and have no affinity for Christianity

I am not a Muslim nor a Christian but if Christians get Sunday as a free day, Muslims should also get Fridays as a free day

Civil service doesn't work weekends.. not about Christianity.. not about religion

Not only the civil service.. most organisations.. it's for workers to rest and be refreshed for a new working week

Nigerian govt workers working from home?
With which technology, abeg?

How many of them don't even have andriod phones?
For many others, “smart technology” ends in Whatsapp

Does the government have computers and constant electricity? Internet subscription nko?

Working from home when our documents are still stacked in paper files

They were not even efficient and effective when it was 5-working days, how much less now.

If they don't start, there won't be implement

Only civilized nations should implement this 4-day work week.

Productivity? Not when LGA employees spend most of the time eating groundnut, gossiping and napping.

They should adopt the Japanese model: 12-14hrs/day x 6 days.

Turn lazy Nigerian workers to jacky.

Well, Friday is part of weekend.

Don't forget that most work place traditions were influenced by Christianity. These traditions still exist because no one has challenged them.

What we call weekend is basically what is known as Sabbath. We all know what happens and doesn't happen on Sabbath

His motive behind this 4 days per week is to declare Fridays a work-free day as Sundays such as in Saudi Arabia and UAE.

El-rufai is a bunch of religious fundamentalist.

There some laws I see This governors make that give me the notion that they know every states is on its own. Some states prohibit alcohol, some states have sharia, some states are going to work for 4 days in a week. Are we still in one country?
That is why knowledgeable people laugh when hypocrites shout Nigeria needs restructuring, people that don’t know what they are practicing, nothing do Nigeria.

What is wrong with his decision? Christians will still have the Friday off also? Nigeria is a free Democratic Nation, What does his actions tell you, that the states are autonomous of The Federal Government to a large extent.

I only pointed out his motive and who I feel he is. Christians are hardworking and would not advocate for a three (3) free-working days in one week. That is, Sunday, Saturday and a one other day again. Haba!

Don't promote mediocrity.

That hidden motive is to declare Friday a work free day since Sunday is a work free day.

This man is gradually turning Kaduna into an Islamic state.Friday is likely the day simply because Christians have Saturday and Sunday.
Re: Kaduna State To Transition To 4-Day Work Week by ROYALTIPPERS: 7:10pm On Nov 29, 2021
If you feel work days should be dictated by religious inclination, then traditional worshippers and atheist should be recognised and given a day too.
For your information the original

Sabbath day in the Bible is Saturday.

It's so sad everything in this country is about religion. This sort of decision should be driven by verifiable economic data, and not sentiments.

the Northern Christians too should call for no Hijab, Hisban and no sharia court ruling.Anytime south want to give financial autonomy to Lagos and River state, clamour for restructuring, state police or anti grazing ban, northern Muslims were yelling foul, now when it's there turn they expect us to look,we need to fire the shot of Banning FIRS tax collection now in a very dire manner

In Islamic countries, Fridays are public holidays while people work on Sundays. Many moslems in Nigeria have fantasised about Fridays being work free, Elrufai wants to realise that fantasy. I swear it down, that guy neither gives a fuçk about Kaduna State workers not their relationship with their family members, he is to wicked to care!

which innovative ideas? Whereas some serious minded countries are working 24/7 including Sunday ( constrictions and factories at nights), this terrorist is tactically trying to introduce friday as a rest day. E de pain am say Sunday na global workfree day.
Lazy lots like you will hype this as a foresight.

Did you even read the story? If you had, you would have noticed he increased closing time to 5 pm!
With El-Rufai, God help you make you no work from home on Saturday. It was something they did during lockdown. So he is just tactically increasing closing time
