To help people via the Internet has now become a crime.

Anyway, I'm not stopping because of him, but I'll be too picky in making my choices. Anyone who says he doesn't have a social media account will be automatically disqualified.
I suggested that you allow others bring their own capital hopefully he'll pay back,

I understand what you're doing and it has no connection with providing help. This is simply money laundering. Using people's account to transact cryptocurrency with their debit card on foreign exchanges.

I'm not criticising your hustle but I'd advice you review your method or else many more losses will come from many more Judases. You want alternative method, then reach out to me.

I like your comment and I appreciate. As a man who understands what money laundering means, could you define it for me?

After defining it, how did you conclude that my source of income is illegal?

See some examples of the definition of money laundering. After reading them, define yours let me learn.

I love to learn from smart people like you.

You’re not helping people Oga . What you’re doing is similar to money laundry . You’re using ignorant people as money mules lol

Explain let me learn and improve.

Let's assume you're a footballer and your team has been playing freekicks, but they don't score.

You brought the idea of buying a certain player and the club did. All of a sudden, the new player started scoring freekicks and your team started winning.

How will you feel if someone tells you you didn't help the team because you weren't the one who scored the goal? Or will you consider yourself as somone who has helped the club or not?

Mendy was recommended to Chelsea by former Chelsea keeper, Cesc. Are you going to say Cesc did not help Chelsea?

You're from a poor home and a friend directed you to a place to do some jobs and you got paid for it and he took some shares. Are you going to say he didn't help you because he took shares? If yes, that's a sign of an ingrate.

What if you helped someone to find a job and you demanded for 50% and he obliged. How will you feel when you hear the person gossiping you that you've never helped him in life?

At times, people should think before they type to avoid looking stupid.

You sound like someone who will never appreciate being helped.

You came to my house and I gave you a room and food for free and after a month, you travelled and started telling people I have never helped because I didn't dash you the full house.

"How can he give me just a room in his house? He is greedy — he should give me the whole house let me be the owner," is your kind. Too ungrateful.

So, you mean, Niger Delta keeping 13% of oil money to themselves = they didn't help Nigeria? You want them to give 100% before you'll see them as a region that has helped Nigeria become rich and stay united?

You just don't know what help is. I carried you in my car and dropped you off. All of a sudden, I didn't help you because I didn't give you the car.

Truth be told, you can steal easily. You feel people should give everything they have, else they didn't help you. You have a terrible mentality. Tueh!

The illegality in this transaction involves recruiting members to a money mule ring. On your own part, you are simply buying and selling. But if shit hits the fan, they (financial regulators) would simply tag it as a means of sending large sums of money via a syndicate. With such move, one can simply move billions out of the country and you only spend 10% of the total cost. i.e 5,000/50,000. You'd be most unlucky if you happen to be a friend to a PEP.

The key points to consider is,
1: You're not a licenced FX business operator.
2: Such transactions exceed your spend limit as an individual (red flags)
3: You risk being tagged a terrorist/drugs financer (you know our security as their head dey touch)

And you think he's going to tell you? He doesn't have anything to tell you. He'll ask you to DM him and he'll tell you something vague, then find a way to scam you.

The game these scammers play is: condemn what others do, talk about how you have a better option, then tell the gullible ones to send you a private message.

People who have something to offer don't tell people to send them a private message.

People beg them for a private messages and they mostly decline that they don't have time for now and not the other way around.

I don't remember the last time I replied a PM on Nairaland, but scammers reply all messages because message is an opportunity to get a new victim.

Just be care with people that request for a DM with vague speech.

You still haven't defined money laundering and how in laundering money. You're only rambling.

Group of people moving legit money around are not called syndicates, but business men or traders. Even if you call them syndicates, you must define the kind of syndicate.

Syndicates in crime or in what?

I think I will not reply you again. I know where this debate will end.

Like I said, you're simply buying and selling currencies. Simple trade. It becomes laundering when you influence a third party to carry on the transaction. Banks frown at it, regulators frown at it. All the same, God bless your hustle. All in all. it'll be safer to use friends you're familiar with and avoid $100 limit cards. go for the big cards with higher limits so you can use few people. Managing lots of people with small amounts of card limit is stressful. You get?

Alternatively, you can look into gift card arbitrage. Do your research, the profit you make for each transaction is higher than regular arbitrage. Please no one should contact me for this. I don't have a handy guide or video to refer you to. I'm an extremely busy person who has no time to reply unofficial email.

.

No sir.
Money laundering stems from illegal source of wealth.
The word is to "conceal" illegal wealth.
Even genuine transaction can look like money laundering untill source of wealth is proven.
If he can explain his source of income and its not illegal. It might not be "ethical" does not make it illegal.
Hence if u open a shell account for ur company is Bahamas for example, it is not illegal if ur company is doing a legal business ( companies does this for hedge funds in instances where they make good profit during certain period and they don't want to mismanage the excess funds) despite the fact that people also store illegal wealth there.

Remember David Cameron had this issue.
However as u have rightly said, crypto in Nigeria is termed " illegal " but to the world as large it is not.
So that may be the issue here.
Sir assuming you have 50,000 usd to pay to ur dorm account.
I can tell u , you will be advised to split into max if 10,000 usd a piece of 5 deposit. Or 5000 usd a piece of 10 deposit.
I may just put my family members names as depositors.
Nothing illegal there.
I do understand ur view point but Nigeria has seen almost everything as money laundering.
